Hi, This is Kiran from Bangalore. I am an Amazon prime membership customer. On Friday Sept 23rd morning I have placed order for a mobile in Amazon website with order #[protected] and paid money. Amazon confirmed order and informed that they will delivery on Friday evening. But they haven't delivered the item and updated the status as "couldn't deliver as we cannot reach you". I called customer care and given complaint and mentioned that the status is not true as no one called me...infact they have no need even to call me, they can directly come home and deliver the item. Manager from escalation team.promised me that they will deliver Saturday for sure. Saturday evening I received delivery boy contact details. I called him couple of times and he is keep on saying I will come in half an hour. Finally he came at 9:45pm to my home. As this is exchange offer he asked my old mobile and i handed over to him. He taken the mobile and tried to update in his app. But he said he cannot take this as he need a otp but due to server problem he cannot generate otp. He left without delivering the new mobile that I ordered. I called customer care and given complaint once again. They said they will make sure to deliver next day I.e. on Sunday. But on Sunday no response from delivery team, I called delivery manager and sent tracking ID to him as text message. But still there is no response. Evening at around 3:15pm the previous day escalation manager called me and informed that the status is updated as "cannot deliver" and so she asked me to cancel the order. I didn't agreed for this and asked to deliver my item. I even asked for the reason but she said she don't know the reason. I asked her what is my mistake in this..she said there is no mistake from your side but as we cannot deliver please cancel this order. I didn't agreed to cancel the order. She said she will check if there is any other possibility and will come back and disconnected the call. After that there is no further update from Amazon. Now the status is showing as "Returning to seller".
Amazon is cheating their customers with false offers. They even taking money inadvance and after three days they are saying they cannot deliver the product. No proper reason was given. I spent my valuable time in last three days to communicate with customer care. I have placed order to gift phone to my daughter's on Daughter's day. But Amazon ruined my day with their false commitments and I felt like i was cheated. I need justiice on this and teach Amazon a lesson not to repeat such false promises and commitments to Indian citizens. Please take necessary action sir. Was this information helpful? |
