Amazon India — Pickup point problems - zero response from customer care for order cancellation | |||
Two items I had ordered reached the pickup location that I had specified. I couldn't pick it up immediately and two later I got the message that I had picked up the order, when i had not. That was resolved with the explanation that someone had mistakenly scanned the items, or something like that. If someone can just scan it and show it as "picked up" what is the point is customers showing ID at the point of delivery? In any case, the pickup location, a medical store, was supposed to be open, according to Amazon, between 9:00 - 5:00 everyday. Which it wasn't because it had shut down. So in order to pick up you had to call a number posted on the closed shutter. But the guy who responded to the number was always somewhere else or not close to the shop and therefore couldn't come there to hand over. After this went on for some days I emailed Amazon, twice, that I wanted to cancel the order. Until now, no response. And on their website these two items are still marked as "Picked Up". Since I have already paid for these items, Amazon.in got my money and the pickup location guy got the products. Was this information helpful? | |||
