I placed order for Redmi 9activ phone on 21st of July, 2022 and made payment using debit.
The Package was delivered to me on 27th of July but as I opened the package in front of the delivery boy there was no phone inside the box instead there were 4 Dettol Soaps in the phone box. I requested the delivery boy to take the parcel back but he refused as the delivery was made using OTP and he asked me to contact customer care.I immediately Opened Amazon App and made a Call Back Request and received callback at 12:45 from customer support and I shared the whole incident with them. They assured me that the matter will be looked upon and the investigation team will investigate and reply back within 5 days i.e on 2nd of August
As I was waiting for 5 days, there was no reply From Amazon, so on 2nd of August, I called customer support thrice and enquired about the status of my complaint but instead of providing solution to my problem, they told me that the investigation report has been recieved as negative and we cannot do anything . I told them how come the investigation is being done without consulting the delivery office and delivery agents who are witnesses to it. They disconnected my call several times. After that I visited the Local Amazon Delivery Office from where the parcel has been received and they confirmed that we were not consulted by any Amazon investigation Team and thus the investigation is completely wrong.
Then I contacted them again and again via email and phone and everytime they gave me the same reply that the product has been delivered properly so we cannot issue refund or replacement of the product.
I am fed up by their rude and irresponsible behaviour, so I decided to make legal complaint.
