[Resolved]  Amazon India — received a refurbished smartphone/redmi note 4

I had purchased a red mi note 4 through amazon on[protected]. I purchased this product as a fresh one. By using this mobile i had faced the problem of network and i can't make any phone calls. It's shows as emergency calls. And the slot 2 is not working. Due to this problem i had contacted the red mi service center palarivattom. After checking checking the mobile they told me that it was a refurbished smart phone and the warranty of the phone had finished already. And they are not providing any service. After this i had contacted amazon for this issue and they told me to buy a sevice denied letter. The service center is not providing me the service denied letter. I am not getting any service from amazon or red mi.

I had purchased mobile through Amazon. I came to know the mobile was a refurbished phone when I contacted the service center. I had contacted you many times for this but no any respond was received from Amazon. Due to this I had registered a complaint on national consumer helpline.

We have perused the complaint received from Mr. Sahad ("Complainant") and find that he made a purchase vide Order ID:[protected]"Order") from the independent third party seller, i.e., Rinku Deal ("Seller") on the website: www.amazon.in ("Website") and has requested for replacement of the Order or refund of the amount paid by him.
It is submitted that he did not contact the customer support team within the time prescribed by the Seller for accepting return for refund on the Order, as per policy.
Please advise the Complainant to get the service denial letter and contact the customer support team for further assistance.
ASSPL does not provide any after sales services, warranty, guarantee in relation to any product that are listed on the Website. Further, it is submitted that our role is limited to that of an intermediary and we are not the seller/manufacturer of the products listed on our Website. The products listed on our Website are sold by independent third party sellers.
In view of the above, the issue stands closed.
