This is with respect to my order for Nike Kid's Running Shoe-13C with order number Order#[protected]
I had ordered a Nike Shoe for my kid on 3rd April 2022 along with 2-3 other shoes to check the best option of school shoes for my kid. I had to the return the shoe due to size issues and placed a return request for the same on 8th April 2022. The order was scheduled to be picked up on 9th April and was picked up by an Amazon delivery executive on 9th April itself. The original orange Nike box and the shoes were present in the box and the same were checked by the delivery executive before accepting the return. The item was received by Amazon on 12th April and the same was updated in the app as well. I waited for the refund for 8-10 working days and then called up the customer care number to understand the status and I was told that the return has been sent for assessment by the team since wrong item has been received, which was definitely not the case as I handed over the item myself. After the enquiry, it was decided not return my amount since wrong item has been returned which is totally unjustified since I gave the exact same product back to the delivery executive. The delivery executive has been able to pull-off some kind of a scam and the entire blame has been put on me. There are a few things that I want to highlight here which do not justify the treatment that has been given to me
1. I understand that as per the standard operating procedure, the executive accepting return has to check the original product and then accept delivery for the same. If the item would have been different then the issue would have been raised by the executive there and then while nothing was done. The return should not have been accepted
2. I was not made aware of any of this throughout and its only after my call that I got to know about such an issue otherwise I could have held the executive in the society to reveal the truth
3. The team which enquired on the issue gave a decision without even interacting with the customer itself which is like only hearing the seller side of the story and has been a biased one. I have been an amazon customer and that too a prime member since 2015 years where in I would have placed about 300 orders and nothing of this type has happened once which indicates towards a healthy profile that I have with Amazon
Please look into this matter and provide a resolution on the same soon as this has been a truly disappointing experience from Amazon for a company which aims to focus on customer service and satisfaction.
