Subject: Complaint against Amazon for delivery of damaged product and denial of return request

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file an official consumer complaint against Amazon India regarding the delivery of a damaged product and their unjust refusal to allow a return or refund, despite the defective condition of the item.

Platform: Amazon.in

Product: PC Cabinet

Date of Delivery: 19 july, 2025

Issue: The product was received in damaged/broken condition. The delivery person did not allow me to check the item at the time of delivery. Upon opening the package, I discovered visible physical damage.

Return Status: When I tried to return the item, I was informed that it was non-returnable. Customer support also claimed that the product was delivered in good condition and refused any further help.

I would like to state clearly that non-returnable status does not apply to defective or damaged items, as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. I have photo/video evidence of the damaged product that proves I received a faulty item.
