Amazon India — Technical refusal to take back defective product | |||||
On 15st september, 2016, i had ordered a panasonic 32" led tv which turned out to be defective within 10 minutes of its delivery (received on the 21st of september). after phoning amazon india the first time to request return (not replacement), they stated that the tv could be returned, it has to be replaced. however, i did not want a replacement, i wanted refund, but even after explaining this to them several times, and even after my return order had been scheduled, i received a message on my mobile saying that the return order has been rescheduled. this kept happening for 3 days straight. the last time i called amazon india, which is only 5 minutes ago, they accused me of refusing to return the item. till now, after 3 days of phoning amazon india and requesting refund, no delivery man has yet arrived to take back the tv, and my cash amount of rs. 21000 is also on hold.
