Amazon India — Unacceptable behaviour and not initiating proper refund | |||||
I ordered a backpack from amazon...on receiving the product i understood that it was not what i wanted ...so i decide d to return the product and ask for a refund...i gave back the product the next day only...but after that there was no information regarding my refund...so i called up the customer care and they told me that it is the seller who has to refund my money and they can only pressurize the seller...after repeated calls and emails i did for an entire week also there was no improvement...each day when i called i got a different response...and finally one day an executive told me to file a complaint in their own customer forum ...i did that too...next day i got a e mail saying that my refund has been initiated for a sum of 436 rupees...but i have paid the delivery agent 500 rupees...and it was also written that they are sending me a cash cheque which will take 10 days to reach me ...and since it is an outstation cheque it will take more than two weeks for the beneficiary banks to en cash it...these people have tested my patience to the maximum...and they are like they can only issue a cheque and nothing else can be done...for a refund which would take hardly 48 hours ...i have already wasted a week and still i have to wait for a month more...and again the trouble of going to the bank and en cashing it...money isnt the issue...but the way these people are behaving is totally unacceptable...i have decided that again i wont buy any product from amazon...
