Amazon — Invoice for mobile purchased through amazon | |||||
I had purchased a mobile through amazon on 31.1.17. the invoice was generated in the name in the amazon account. As I am eligible for a reimbursement for a Mobile handset I requested for change in name (my official name) in the invoice. The customer service person through online chat said it's not possible. Since I gave a poor feedback on the CS enquiry, the call was escalated and I spoke to a supposedly higher executive who guided me to give an invoice request online and assured that it shall be sent through email within 24 to 48 hrs. The request goes to the seller. How convenient! Then I get a regret msg from the seller that all invoices are dealt by amazon. When I spoke to the amazon cs executive again she says that invoice cannot be changed by amazon. The issue is being tossed back and forth by amazon and e mobiles, the seller. With advancements in today's technology, change in invoice is very simple - it is possible from a smallest retailer /supermarket to a big mnc. I fail to understand what is all the fuss about. Sincerely regret that I chose to buy a product through amazon. I should have bought from the manufacturer or in a mobile shop which may be simpler.
