TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.
I'm making a complaint regarding the above insurance which is still charging me through my credit card even though my request for cancellation since Feb.2017. It was purchased through telephone and conversations recorded under "Smart Partnership Moto Kuala Lumpur where the first deduction was in 24 Mar 2016.
I visited the branch office @ Penang Menara Liang Court and the staff of customer service was kind enough to make a call to K.L customer services. Every month, several conversations to K.L. office were made and recorded with the feedback from the officer I quote” the insurance will call you within 3 days time!"
Up till today, after so many attempts I still haven't got a single call from either the insurance company or the person in charged. Month after months despite every visit to your to make a stop, the insurance still debit me through my credit card.
I would like to request the Ambank credit department to stop payment and reimburse me.
Kindly take action on my complaint soonest possible.

I also got same problem like mr. Khaw. The insurance still charging me until now which is this new year jan 2018 even i've request to cancel since end of nov 2017. F.Y.I this is my 3rd time report to your customer service and i still haven't got a single call from either the insurance company or the person in charge. Kindly do your work and action as soon as possible..Tq.
Yup i have a bad experience with the insurance sold by telemarketing of ambank which is also maa mbf.I told the telemarketing personal i will consider to buy when i get the policy details. Before i manage to check the particulars, i was deducted rm 50 every month.That‘s fine, as i got my credit card loan with a cheap rate.The most fed up thing is i called ambank, i e-mailed ambank, i even went to their branch and AMmedlife insurance branch to cancel.But still failed to cancel this stupid policy as the only choice is to wait for their call.I receive calls probably from ambank but unable to listen due to work. What i hope for is ambank this department can have their own line which we can reach ourself.We all need to work, if we unable to pick up the phone for a long period and let the insurance policy continue to deduct from our account??? After this experience i wouldn't buy insurance from telemarketing and might consider to cancel my credit card from ambank and turn to other banks. Just imagine if something happen to us and the insurance company is unreachable? ??
I am lodging a report in your agent named Faizah which have instructed me to not unsubscribe the MAA MBF insurance before 60 working days.

I have proof of (recording) of the allegation I made above, thanks to call recording app ACR from day 1, until 3 months now.

I give you 1 day to respond or else I will spread the recording publicly, including the tele-conversation with your ambank customer care that show how incompetent they are in stopping the deduction that I did not approved, other than what I was misguided with by your agent Faizah.

This include raising the awareness of hundred others who have been lied with the "60 working day rules" which is a complete hoax, confirmed by 3 different customer care line that I have recorded as well.

And I will make sure Ambank credit card department will pay for their incompetency of controlling their own sub-department, that have caused thousands if not million have been fooled into paying premium that they dont really have to.

Mind you that this is not the first time I have been having problem with banking services, previous one are with CIMB, and I managed to force them to cooperate thanks to the help by KPDNKK and Bank Negara. I did not viral the thing last time as it is not as severed as this case now.

I demand MAA MBF to call me within 1 day or I will assumed you are indeed have the intention to cheat our money in the first place, never planned to return it before "cooling down" period. Yes, I know tht much and I keep the recording.

Facing the same issue. Seems like this is real scam. I think there should have more victims like us and some one should responsible for it.
