I have bought AO SMITH 5L instant water heater ( EWS-005L) from Flipkart minute. I have manually installed the water heater since there was no communication from company for installation. After the installation I have come across that it is not giving hot water, and I raised a complaint with AO SMITH.
Post complaint Technician visited and without looking at the heater it said that since this was not installed by them, so they need 2K to replace various part of the product. (product itself is of 4K rupees). I have asked them to drop an email saying that they found product faulty and they need to replace the part which they are not agreeing.
If company provide product which is not doing the basic purpose for which product is built, then in this case company should be replacing the product. have very weird experience with the AO SMITH that they are assigning all queries to same technician and there is no way to escalate the matter to different person.
Based on my experience, I think buying product from company whose support is based on looting people should be avoided. Was this information helpful? |
