We have bought AO Smith Z9 water purifier(Serial No- B[protected] on 12/7/2021 and within a month we started seeing water leakage problem. We requested the company to exchange with a new product as we were with in warranty. But we were given temporary solution initially but this occured very frequently causing lot of trouble and inconvenience. Some time later an engnieer who came to check the issue reported us that there is a known issue with this particular model. Seeing this issue occuring so many times we requested for an exchnage and despite we reached customer service many times we never got any proper response regarding exchange but everytime we were only given temporary patch and ignorde the main problem.

Since its not working with the customer service for what we are looking for, I am reaching out here so that we can find permanent solution by exchanging this water purifier with another working model or provide us with full refund. I appreciate your help in this matter. I can provide additional details if needed. Looking forward to hear from you.

      Hi Everyone,

      We have bought this product ( water purifier hot and normal model ) in the name of Ragu prasad, Bangalore. After 6 months we requested for service but even after contact customer care for a month no use. Customer support team, have not at all arranged the service.

      I never expect, AO smith service will be this much Worst.

        As per the attached file, the filters were replaced by ao smith when I called customer service. Since then some water is leaking and I tried to call everyone and no one came. Numbers mentioned in the bill or customer service. Customer service said that there is no complain registered with them and now I have to pay service charge again. No one is helping now

          I paid 5800 on 6th march to change the filters and rest, since then some water is leaking continuously however when tried to contact the ao Smith, no one is reaching to fix the problem. It is now more than 1 month and AO smith said that they will charge for service charge. I mean are they making fun of the consumerz ??

              I have invested like 5000 RS for a minor issue. They have changed every part and every time a new issue arises in their product. Service person do not understand the problem and only change parts, take money leading to another problem. It's like one month following up with them and now I am buying water. Never buy anything from AO Smith

                My filters SCPA warning came within 1 Month and 8 days of last SCPA /RO service .
                The Service Person did not serviced the Machine in a manner that all required filter, should have been changed.

                When I purchased AMC I came to know that all filters will be changed during AMC period but when issue arised only 1 filter was changed.

                This seems like a planned approach to harass customers and force them to buy AMC.

                Kindly address the issue as soon as possible or I might have to reach out to a legal forum .

                  I am very unhappy with the way AO Smith technicians are fooling customers, They are either resting the filter using some trick to remove the light of SCPA warning so that it comes back not within a month but just after that like mine came after 1 month 8 days after service.

                  My Last service log can be checked Ticket #17322133 which mentions SCPA filter change. I am almost confident that the filter changed last time was a used filter and the technician only changed SCPA filter or he pushed some reset button so that warning doesn't comes for 1 month or so.
                  If any of this is true than this is very serious issue and I am sure thousands other customers (who are not willing to openly complaint ) are facing the same issue.

                  So I kindly urge AO Smith team to take strong actions here and try to rebuild the broken reputation.

                  I can see many other complaints in this forum itself complaining about SCPA filters and Filter being duplicate and customer being fooled by technician. Not sure if any action was taken by AO smith team .But it is high time that this issue is highlighted to the senior Management so that these ill practices to fool customers should be stopped.

                    I had order an AO Smith water purifier worth Rs 20000 which got damaged in just 2 days. Still the issue is not resolved though it is being more than 2 weeks. Each time am calling the customer care they are asking me to call 10 different person. They have such inefficient technician as well as such a disaster management people. They don't know what is happening. Some people saying the spare part that got damaged is available just it need to be fixed and some are saying the spare part is not at all available. No one knows what is the actual status . I highly recommend no to buy any AO Smith product. They have such inefficient technician as well as faulty management people. It was the Worst decision to buy the product.

                      I have ordered a water purifier worth Rs20000 which got damaged in just 2 days. It's being more than 2 weeks still the purifier is not repaired. Each time when am calling the customer care they are just telling us to call 10 different people and every time they are saying they will take action in half n hour which never get end. They have such inefficient technician as well as such a disaster management people who don't know what is happening. It is such a wrong decision to buy such a product. I highly recommend not to purchase any of Ao Smith product. They have such a bad management team as well as inefficient technicians.

                          On 30 dec 2022 we raised request for candle change and a person came from ao smith jammu service centre and changed the candles and after some time the water starts leaking and we call that person and were told that it happens sometimes leaking will stop with in 24 hrs and it never did and the person didn’t picked the call after that and due to weeding in our house we were all busy and on 1 feb or 2 feb we raised another request and a person came on 4 feb 2023 and when he checked the machine the tray was broken and he also saw that a part inside the machine was also broken by previous person on the visit and we were told that it will be charged tomorrow that is 5 feb and its be more that 4-5 days nothing have been done by ap smith team and no water in the house ever since very poor customer service

                                We recently purchased AO smith water geyser 4 star category 15 lit capacity from Amazon now the product has stopped performing after 2 months o[censored]se and its not heating as per the claimed standards. We asked the company for service which they denied, asked for replacement denied by Ao smith and they want us to ask for replacement from Amazon. In this chilly weather with a small child We are somehow managing things and its disheartening to See that company is not supportive at all with such a huge reputation and Business. I will never buy an american product.

                                  We live in H block of Phase 1, DLF, Gurgoan.
                                  One of our neighbour has a very aggressive and hostile dog. He lives in H 38/3, Second floor, Phase 1, Dlf. Gurgaon.
                                  Even after repeated request to the owner Mr. Sumit Chauhan(ph no.[protected], the dog is allowed to come out without any leash or escort.
                                  He attacks and bites people and other dogs.
                                  It has become difficut to come out of one"s house in fear of being attacked by this dog.
                                  Kindly help resolve this issue.
                                  We are all dog lovers, we do not want any harm to the dog .
                                  At the same time we do not want to be attacked by him to.
                                  Kindly please help resolve this issue.

                                    Good evening,
                                    I am writing to you in frustration with your customer service. I purchased a brand-new water heater from Lowes Home Improvement yesterday 12/26/22. We installed it and did not work. I returned to Lowes to return it but was instructed to contact your customer service. Your customer service informed me that I needed to check the elements on the water heater and that I needed to get a tech to check to see if I had power. I paid an electrician $50 to check if I had power in which I did. I went back to Lowes and the manager told me to call customer service again, which this time I put them on speaker so they could hear. The manager and I were extremely shocked of the treatment we received from your customer service rep named Andrea. She informed me again that I needed to purchase a multimeter to check the elements. I told her that I did not know how to use it. She stated that I needed to learn and that was the only way they were going to help me. I'm now having to check the water heater elements on a brand-new water heater which I am scared to do because I am not an electrician. I extremely frustrated. I purchased a brand-new water heater that I now have to check on my own and now out $650 and still no hot water. I have been without hot water for over 48 hours with 4 small children in the home with cold temperatures. This has been the worse treatment I have ever received. It should not be this hard to replace an item. I just ask for help and that my water heater get replaced or have my money returned. Thank you.

                                        Hi im vinesh, my mobile number [protected]. i have raised complaint ticket number 16939511 on 23rd NOVEMBER 2022 regarding power issue of my water purifier. but not yet resolved. there is no response from customer support. worst service... we are facing so many issues with unresponsive support and service.
                                        But there's no use on giving complaint here also. Never seen such a worst service like this ao smith. Better to give awareness...
