Appario Retail Private Ltd — Tenda Wifi Router - Not refunding my money | |||||
I had purchased Tenda AC10 AC1200 Wireless Smart Dual-Band Gigabit WiFi Router from Amazon. Ordered on 20 June 2021 Order No.[protected]. Cost Rs.2, 449.00/- I bought this product to improve my wireless Internet connection better in my house as I was not getting the connectivity in a few rooms in my house. I received this product on 21 June and I installed it on 22 June. 1. I noticed that the performance of Tenda router is not great there was no difference in connectivity. I changed the location of my Airtel Modem and there was no improvement in the connectivity in Tenda router in fact the Airtel modem’s connectivity is better. 2. I was not able to log into Tenda router (http:Tenda.com) to change the SSID and add the password. This is a big security concern for me as without the password anybody can use my Internet connection and misuse it. 3. When I wanted to return it and get my refund, I am getting option only for replacement, there is no option for refund. Why will I use a product which has no security feature and has no value add to my existing connectivity. 4. Products on Amazon, who do not issue a refund clearly mention “no refund” alongside their product, this is not found for Tenda product. Please find the image attached. 5. Tenda is a Chinese company (https://www.tendacn.com/default.html) – this was not mentioned on the page. Had I known it was from China I would not have ordered it as I know that most Chinese products are fake.
