Details of the Complaint:
On 30 August 2025, I recharged ₹4, 730.43 on the Astroyogi app to consult with my astrologer. During the session, while I was speaking politely, the call was suddenly disconnected.
I immediately contacted customer support and spent 28 minutes explaining the issue. Instead of reconnecting the session or providing a proper resolution, they refused my request for a complimentary session or refund.
At first, they offered me only E-Pass vouchers worth around ₹200, which is insulting compared to my actual loss of ₹4, 730.43.
Later, they sent repeated template emails claiming my issue was resolved, without refunding the actual money.
Finally, they sent me a written refusal saying:
“We are unable to process a refund or provide any complimentary session in this case. As per our policy, no further action can be taken.”
This is a clear case of:
Deficiency of service – I paid ₹4, 730.43 but did not receive the service.
Unfair trade practice – They are forcing me to accept partial vouchers instead of refunding my actual money.
Mental harassment – I wasted 28 minutes on support, faced repeated template replies, and was denied a fair resolution despite being a loyal customer who has already spent over ₹1–2 lakhs on their platform.
Relief Sought:
Refund of the full ₹4, 730.43 to my original payment method (bank/UPI/card).
Alternatively, credit of the entire ₹4, 730.43 to my Astroyogi wallet for future use (not partial vouchers).
Written assurance that such negligence will not happen again.
