Audi India — embarrassing customer service from audi kochi, kerala

Vehicle name - audi q3 35 tdi premuim plus
Engine number/chassis number - cyl100049/ wauzgh8u9hy001893

Hi there,

I have been forced to write you to let you know what kind of bad service i am experiencing from so called high end car manufacturers and sale team in the whole world. I am wondering whether i am using audi q3 35 tdi premium plus car or maruti 800..!!! Its not the first car i have been using but unfortunately this is the very bad customer service i ever experienced in my life time.

I bought this car on 11th september 2017.. Its been only 4 months.. The first problem started in the 4th week of september which is just 2 weeks after the delivery of the car... It was a small cracking sound from the left back wheel and with in 2-3 days it became really horrible.. People started staring at what kind of car is it which put me in a very bad mood. On 30th september my audi q3 was towed or dragged by the service centre vehicle. I had to wait 8 days to get the car back and i was not given any cars from service centre to use for this period. I had to spend 8400 which is 1200/day for the rent-a-car which i used on that period. You need to understand that i have a medical condition where i cannot use any 2 wheeler.. I was promised that i would get the money which i spent for rent a car service which never fulfilled so far.. It is still a promise so far...!!!

Then i thought everything would be ok...

2nd problem: as soon as we got the car from the service center after the sound issue, with in a week the gear shifting pressing button started creating problems. That means, once we put the gear in the parking mode, we wont be able to release the key from the ignition and it was stuck in the middle...!!!
As soon as we found this issue, we called up kochi kerala audi service center number and addressed this issue and i was told that this is not a big issue and i could come over there if i pass by any time though their service center area. But day by day it became horrible and one day i went to their service center only for rectifying this issue. They examined the vehicle and they said that the problem was with the press button. And i was told to come back after 10 days since the button was not in stock.

They said they will call me once it is available but not more than 10 days.. And they said that once the button is available it takes only 30 mins job to replace it. I have been waiting for their call since the problem became much severe than i expected... But again they are not in a good position to act according to their words.. So i called them back after 2 weeks and i was informed to bring back the vehicle to the service center and they need to examine the vehicle completely once again to see if it is the problem with the button or something else...!!! So i demanded for a car from them to use since they are not specifically saying how long it will take to rectify it and they said no cars available there and i will be called again once any cars are available which never happened again...!!!

I am really wondering and really surprised whether i bought a 'toy car' or a real audi q3. I am damn sure that even a toy cars service centers will act more responsibly than these guys and i am really pitying the way your guys are taking these kind of serious issues..!!!

I will be forced to post this with all the evidence i have, in the social media which is not a threat but common man's responsibility to make the people turn away from audi since i am really frustrated on what had happened so far.

I am awaiting your reply or preferably a call at +91 [protected] or [protected]

Regards,
Simon c. O
