Axis Bank — Account Closure Issue | |
I had opened a digital savings account in Axis Bank with online video KYC on 14th Oct 2021. Since the customer service was horrible and I did not get the benefit for which I had opened the account, I submitted a closure form on 18th Oct 2021 even before receiving the welcome kit. I did not get any notification or update on account closure. When i contacted customer care yesterday, they said it will be closed by the end of the day and I will receive a notification, but I not. When I checked my account today, it has negative balance deducted for debit card. Since I had closed the account before receiving the debit card, they should not charge me for it. Request you to ask Axis Bank to close my account. Was this information helpful? | |
