Axis Bank — account closure request

I have visited the axis bank r t nagar branch on 30/10/2017 and met the representative there to submit the account closure request. She asked me to fill the account closure form. I filled the form and given my cheque book and debit card to close the account. She told me your account will be closed within 3 working days but my account is still not closed.
It is causing alot on inconvenience because currently i am not in india. When i visited the website there is no way to submit the complain related account closure and i cant find the email id of nodal office directly. I need to call them and raise the request if it doesn't resolve the problem then with the request id i need to mail these fellows for closure.
I am not left with any other option so i need to raise a complain here. Its a simple procedure why its not been because they don't want to close my account. They will add charges for non maintenance of fund and maintenance and other charges.
In a ways they will make a big hole in your pocket by cheating you like this. These all private bank became as bad as government banks in india.
In fact government banks are giving better services then these thieves.
