[Resolved] Axis Bank — Account opening | |||
Dear sir /madam I am writing this letter with lots of frustration. I wanted to open a saving account with axis bank. So i visited the axis bank (Perambur branch) i found a sales person (Mr. Prabu) and he told me that he can help me to open an account. He called me the next day and said come to the branch so we can open an account for you. I was so happy i visited the bank with my documents to open an account. Sales person (Mr prabhu) explained me about the account and he said you can pay cash or cheque and he told me to pay rs 12000 since it’s a 10000 min balance account. I signed a cheque and provided with all my proof. The person at the bank told me it will take 2 working days to get activated. I was waiting like a stupid for the account to open. After 2- 3 days i got a call from the sales person (Mr prabhu) saying that the account will not open since the cheque which i provided was an old cheque and it wil take more than a week for axis bank to process. I really don’t understand the cheque which i provided was from hdfcbank and i used that cheque for all purpose. Now the person asked me to come and deposit the cash to make the process faster. I rejected that i cant make a cash payment so he made me wait and it took more than a week. Later when i called him one fine day asking why my account was not opened. The sales person replied so i am so sorry i submitted the wrong proof and that’s why the account is not opened. He told me please do not call anyone i will take care and make the account active. I visited the perambur branch again and i asked why is my account not opened. Here come a new person called (Mr vignesh) with a high voice saying (Your account is opened and you never attened my call) i said no its not opened i called the customer care support. After few minutes i called the customer care and they said its open on july 21st which i haven’t opened any account. When i call axis bank customer care support they say that the account is opened on a another name (Jaya raj) which is really wrong. The sales person has submitted the wrong documents and the axis bank branch keep playing a game with me. I am going file a case for keeping my money and making me run around. I need my money back or i don’t need your account again. A phone call from axis bank comes and tell that i[censored] deposite 15000/- till 31st Aug You will get a gift of bag. I deposited the said amount weel before 31st Aug but till now I didnot get the bag.
