Hi,
I was trying to open an axis asap account on 11th april 2019, but during final page, it asked me to deposit 10k or 20k, so it was mentioned as a zero balance account but it asked me to deposit 10k, so i discontinue my registration.
On 12th april, i got a call from axis bank and i got an explanation regarding the account details and finally, i opened my account through aadhar and i added an initial deposit of 20k.
And also the called person said, i need to complete my kyc in a year and i will be receiving the debit card with 3-7 working days.
On 14th april, i got a message saying "your a/c xxxxxx is debited by rs. 20000 on 14thaug19. Avbl bal: 0. Info: account closure proceeds to dd acct. Call [protected] for dispute"
So i called customer care and enquired about this, but she said i already have some digital bank account opened with some other bank, so this account will be closed and my deposited amount will be sent as dd to my registered address within 7-10 working days.
To my knowledge, i don't have any digital banking i opened through online, so i asked the details, but she simply said to contact the nearest branch!.
So this was an improper communication from axis bank which i don't expect, and why can't they identify and mention it prior before the account is opened and the amount being deposited!.
This i found cheating and don't expect this from axis bank.
Also, i found with many of them mentioned in like the same scenario, many of them have not received the dd for their account closure.
So i want axis bank to intervene in the issue and got my amount back asap and give the details why the account got closed without my consent.
