Hello, I was called by the Axis bank manager in May month to get an axis Flipkart credit card. But due to my address change, I had not opted for it. But then the manager said, the credit card would be dispatched with my current account address. So I had given a confirmation to get the card. In the verification call, they even verified my address with my current address.
But once the card is dispatched, it was delivered to my old address and I tried reaching service support, where they told me to update the address in the mobile application. I tried updating it from the axis mobile app, but it's not updating the address.
Now the problem is that since the card is returned to the bank, there is no way I could pay the bill for the joining fees. Also, I couldn't block the card as well.
I feel it's the fault of the Axis bank manager to give false hope and instruct me to buy this credit card and now I'm in a state where I couldn't use the card or block the card.
Also even though I have updated my address from the bank, still getting the card is difficult and it is affecting my score. Was this information helpful? |
