[Resolved] Axis Bank — bad closing account policies | |||||
What kind o[censored]nfair customer policies does this bank have? My company created my account in axis pune with just a signature and i am in bangalore, but when i want to close the account i have to go vist the branch personally and close it. They are obviously not going to pay for my travel cost. My other otion is to transfer the account to another branch in bangalore so that they can take the hit of closed account metric (I see an internal integrity issue here). Why when an account can be opened without my presence in the bank it can not be closed without my presence in the bank. Unfair banking policies. Would request rbi to look into this.
