With fastag becoming mandatory on all toll plaza starting december, i recently ordered an axis bank fastag account. On their website they would mention "open a fastag account for free". Later while opting, they would charge you 400 rupees (Security deposit+minimum wallet balance of 200). Once you get the fastag account you get a surprise of rs. 800 getting debited from your account. When called customer care they mentioned that there is some glitch in their system and due to this it's happening. For refund/stopping auto debit open up a service request. So, i opened up two service request (Sr[protected] on 6th jan & sr[protected] on 10th jan). Still the issue did'nt get resolved. So called up again to customer service that's when they informed email to etc. [protected]@axisbank.com. Tried doing that and did'nt get any response till 13th. Now when i call up customer care the representative mentioned that whenever i email etc. [protected]@axisbank.com or a service request, every time i need to call up customer for follow-ups and was asked to wait for more 4 days.
It's already been more than a week now that my issue has not been resolved by them. For a banking organization like axis bank, this is a huge tat and hence i would not recommend anyone to get the axis bank fastag account. Was this information helpful? |
