[Resolved] Axis Bank — cheating customer care | |||||
Myself Anoop Mithran, Account holder of Axis Bank . Iam having this account for the last 7 + years and I was using their credit card also for last 5+ years. Due to the heavy charges they have charged for interest and other hidden charges I have decided to cancel the credit card after paying the entire outstanding bill amount. For cancelling the credit card I have called the customer care on last week of July’18 and the customer care executive accepted that the amount taken as interest is very huge and he can waive off the interest amount taken from me (Approx. 5000+) if iam continuing using the credit card. Based on the promise given by him I decided to continue using the credit card and opted for new Buzz credit card (registration charge approx. 800) After 2 days I received around 800 Rs waived off and they deducted the registration fee of Buzz credit card from that. I have called the customer care team again to know about the balance amount and they told me to wait for some more days to get that balance amount to credit. Based on that promise I wait till 15th Aug and I called the credit card dept. manager and they told like it’s not possible to waive off the amount based on that I told them to cancel the credit card and Bank account. I request the help from the concerned team to check all the calls recorded and take further action against Axis Bank for giving such fake promises and thus wasting consumer money and time. Because of the fake information given by Axis bank I personally lost around 1 months’ time and similar wastage of money also. I need compensation for the time i spent based on the fake and cheating customer service from Axis Bank. Please take necessary action against Axis bank to avoid such instances in future and lets not any others get cheated by them. Was this information helpful? | |||||
