Axis Bank — cibil masking amount asked by axis bank

I was told by axis bank that once you clear your outstanding of the credit card which was written off that the credit card will be closed. The credit card is still not closed and i am asked for a cibil masking fee despite clearing the entire amount. Why is this cibil masking fees asked by the bank and i have cleared the outstanding on my credit card. This is fooling the customer care by your customer care service team. Axis Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Apr 26, 2019 Updated by kamalprit I was told by Axis bank that once you clear your outstanding of the credit card which was written off that the credit card will be closed. The credit card is still not closed and i am asked for a cibil masking fee despite clearing the entire amount. why is this cibil masking fees asked by the bank and i have cleared the outstanding on my credit card. This is fooling the customer care by your customer care service team. No bank charges any amount once the outstanding is clear. Also Axis Bank provided incorrect information on this, they have recorded all the calls that can be checked
