The complaint is the way Satish has handled my account requests in India (Cust No:[protected]. I am very unhappy with his actions, behaviours and responses to my request for transfer of funds of approx 2.5lakhs from my Axis Bank NRO account to the UK. I had made a successful transfer in 2017 with his help. When I tried to make a similar transfer in March 2018 he told me the law had changed. He said that I needed to provide an OCI Card. As I didn't have a card he then requested details of my parents passport details that showed they were originally from India.
I had a very old copy of the passports of my parents - which was a handwritten passport of more than 100 years ago. I do not have any newer passports as my parents sadly passed away over 50 years ago before computerised passports were produced. When I sent the old passport copies to Satish, after many many weeks of chasing him, he said that this information was not accepted as it was not a modern passport. I was very annoyed as I had to keep chasing and chasing him to get a response - he never answered my direct requests or replied to my emails. I am stuck as in those days there were no computerised passports - so what am I supposed to do. He never helped me at all on providing propoer guidance in the matter. As a result I have not been able to transfer my money to the UK.
Can you kindy follow this as I am an elderly lady of nearly 80 years and am unable to travel due to my health. Was this information helpful? |
