Axis Bank — credit card extra fine imposed without informing me | |||
I had been using Axis Credit card for quite a long time. But due to my work few months back, I had been out of city due to which I didn't make any transactions using that card. Now few days back, I started getting calls that you have pending payment left on card and your card has been blocked and fee has been imposed on your card double the amount which I had to pay. When upon asking why such fee has been imposed, the customer care representative tole me that due to non payment of card payment this fine has been imposed. Now the thing of concern is that if my payment has been pending on card, why didn't they inform me about it before. After such imposed amount now they are calling me and it has been more than a week I have been calling them for waive off of the imposed fine so that I can make the payment. But instead of providing me any resolution, they kept my phone on hold for hours and then disconnect. Once the call has been one of their representative told me that if you don't make payment bank calls you after one month. When i said him that I haven't received any call he said that you might have ignored. Why should I ignore calls at that time and now picking them. He didn't gave me the solution and then next day I called them again being busy in my work they took almost 30-40 minutes to connect to senior official and he told me that we may call or not. I did not understand when one employee says we call after one month of payment due and another says we don't. But I am using other credit cards too and they remind every month before making the payments. But in case of axis bank they never did the same and after few months they have imposed such fine on me and blocked my card without informing me. During these days they have not only harassed me but also wasted my working time too. I therefore request you to please look into the matter and ask the Axis bank team to look after such issues and waive off the imposed fine so that I can pay the amount and continue to use the services.
