[Resolved] Axis Bank Credit Card — Recovery team harassment | |
I have my savings bank account in Axis Bank Tollygunge Branch for 14 years. Recently on 23rd March, 2021, one of your executive appealed me to use a PRIVILEGE CREDIT CARD and it was issued accordingly. I have started to use this card for my household necessities but was unaware of the fact that this card has no auto-debit option. From 23 March onwards, I used this card 10 to 11 times till April 15th, and then stopped using this card. Since, there were no transaction details and I was not to pay the bill without receiving any detailed bill. As per my concern, I have spent about 20, 000 Rupees but SMS from the AXIS BANK CREDIT CARD shows much more than I spent. Once I paid the minimum balance, asked by the bank through CRED. But I was still not sure of my transaction detail, which was not provided by the Bank. On 20th June, I asked Bithika Roy about this huge amount. She responded that it may be due to the previous card's outstanding, which was not true. I tried to attend the branch but everybody gave me a helpline number, [protected], but everytime I tried, the options are so confusing, I became frustrated. On 25th August, at 1, 15 pm in the afternoon, a person came to my house and forced me to open the door and called his executive over the phone. The person, called Maheshwar Mandal, as told by himself, forced me to talk with a lady, who started the conversation just like anything. I lost all my respect that moment, since I live in a cultured area and belong to a well-to-do family. I asked her to communicate decently and asked for the detailed transaction report, but that lady refused and still used the term fraud and cheater. I refused to talk to her, but she called me again at 1.44 pm, and harassed my mentally using filthy and abusive language. I paid all my dues then and there, asked Bithika to close my card and complained to my lawyer. The lady, named SONU GAPI, from your recovery or collection team by her atrocious behaviour not only insulted me, but my family members as well. Now, I would like to know what type of representatives you have in the recovery team? I have all the documentation needed. I will go to the consumer court with the help of human rights commission, but before that I would like to give bank authorities one chance to handle the situation and solve it for me. I am embarrassed to the core by the behaviour of your bank employee.. I will go to the consumer court, human rights, and I have already flashed the whole thing in social media with all the evidences. I will give back only one chance to reconcile with me by punishing such representatives for their atrocious behaviour or I will go too far. Was this information helpful? | |
