[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Credit card statement for a closed account

Hi I have received the Axis Bank credit card and I haven't generated a pin for it.Unfortunately within a week I lost the card .I have called up the customer care and placed a request to block the card and close the account .Today I get a message with the credit card statement. Why should I pay the bill when I haven't used the card .Ur customer care says it's joining fee and can be waived of if a make purchases within 45 days ..when I hardly had the card for a week how can I make a purchase and it's already blocked and closed .Why should I pay the bill .Please revert back
