I booked a flight ticket for my relatives last year via my Citi bank (Currently taken over by Axis) bank credit card but unfortunately they couldn't travel as one of the passanger's had to go through a heart surgery. The airlines refunded the amount to the source bank and I currently have more than 1.52 Lakhs in credit.,
I called citi customer service and requested for a refund. Citi wanted my bank statement showing the last payment made towards the card from my bank account, a cancelled cheque. All the requested documents were send to citi on 26th Mar. I leter got an email after 2 days saying, the request is rejected as I couldn't prove that this is my account. I called the customer service on the same day and spoke to a lady named Kavya. She confirmed that they have received all the documents and will process the refund asap. I then got a response from Citi saying the refund will be processed on 29th Mar. Today is 3rd of March and fund is still not credited to my back account. Was this information helpful? |
