[Resolved] Axis Bank Debit Card — international debit card issued without my request | |||
I the undersigned a customer of axis bank and having my salary account since long. Recently i have received a debit card from the bank having annual charge of rs. 500/- and when i contacted axis bank’s orange mall branch and asked why my colleagues having a card of rs. 236/- annual charge and how my debit card bear a higher annual charge. The bank people told me that i am having an international card and they did not give a proper answer why they have issued an international card to me. I asked the bank people to cancel the card and issue me an ordinary card and they asked me to contact customer care. When i contacted customer care for cancelling the card they asked me to submit the card to the branch. Again i contacted the branch and asked them to cancel the same and i got the reply that once issued card could not cancelled. Axis bank’s online complaint system is very odd and you have to make step by step complaint and when i try to make complaint on first step the particular heading (Debit card section) is not accepting the system.
