Axis Bank — Deception ( Charged for Closing Demat Account) | |||
I have a salary account in Axis Bank and last year in 2014 I was charged for Demat AMC. After a month later I had visited one of the Axis Branch situated in Borivali West to submit the closure request, and yes it was done within 15-20 days bank also sent me the confirmation that it has been received. Now after a year I was charged for Demat AMC Charges, when wrote a mail to the particular department, no response received, hence i had to write to Nodal. After speaking to Nodal officer (Ms Mallika) and explained her what has happened. Very next day i received a call from Borivali Branch and the person Mr. Gupta had mentioned that due to document misplaced hence account could not be closed. Later 2-3 days back I spoke to Nodal officer and received completly different answers stating i had not cleared the dues hence account was not closed. I wanted to lodge a formal complaint for 3 reasons 1) for Cheating me ? 2) for careless behaviour, " misplacing customer valuable information". 3) Bank representatives are not aware of the actual scenario, what issue hence unable to pacify.
