Axis Bank — harassment being caused even after account closed on 29.04.2015 | |||
Hello, Reporting this issue here after its being not taken care by Axis Bank Pune Branch East Street. Below are details for which issue is filed for: Acc Name: Bees Home Collection Acc Number: [protected] Acc Type: Curent AccounAccount closing request made on:29.04.2015 Account cheque book and debit card submitted to bank on: 29.04.2015 Remainder account withdrawn as per bank request on: 29.04.2015 at branch ATM machine. Handler name: Ravi Kant So the issue is about non functioning of the branch in regards to termination procedure of the above mentioned account even after applying to close account on 29.04.2015. The bank staff even asked to withdraw the remaining amount at Branch ATM before submitting the debit card along with remaining cheque book. The date was 29.04.2015, and we were told account closure is done as there was no objection related to account and no dues. Now nearly a year and half later client came to know that account was not closed, when client approached bank to check that a wrongly sent payment to this old account (by a client of the firm Bees Home Collection) and it did not bounce back to user like it happens in case of payment made to wrong account number. The bank staff, namely Rahul Deshmukh and Sushil Lunavat, informed proprietor Bees Home Collection that submit and letter with details and they would surely get the issue resolved within a couple of weeks as soon as demonetization rush was calmed down. the application attached to this complaint, which was given to bank on 12.11.2016 And after a month passed and still issue unresolved and the payment of INR 20000.00 not returned to concerned party, proprietor Bees Home Collection made various attempts to contact the bank branch over the issue and nothing happened. Best Regards, Axis Bank Customer Support ============================================================= Being know, that demonetization had been taking toll on all banking institutions for few months, proprietor of account did not rush to bank window everyday understanding importance of the demonetization over the petite issue of INR 20000.00 There was no response/updates from the bank for months and Bees Home Collection adjusted off the INR 20000.00 for the client in his next purchases as it did not want to lose a client which is hard to make, and bank staff does not understand this. There were few more approaches made towards the issue to bank branch and all in vain. Please suggest how to proceed with a legal action against the Bank and its staff mentioned above for not resolving the issue. In times when India is preparing for bring up small entrepreneurs such banking issues will always hold them back. I am writing this on behalf of the senior citizen lady (proprietor of the Bees Home Collection) whose all attempts made at branch went in vain. I will make sure that this money is refunded to her with all dues interests. Consumer cannot be held responsible for non/under performance of any Bank Staffer. With all payment documents (cheque books)and ATM cards submitted to bank what usage was the current account to anyone? Please explain this Axis Bank? Also the video footage of the date mentioned was declined to be checked by bank branch the day when account closure and the last transaction that was done on Branch ATM as requested by Bank Staff.
