Axis Bank — need to close saving account

I need to close my saving account which is currently inactive. Previously it was salary account after that i left that company & it got turned into saving account. The amount is in negative & today i had visited the nearest branch to close my account but they refused to do it. They said they'll not waive off the charges.

Unfortunately i'm not going to pay the charges, so it's my request to the bank to close my account at the earliest.

Updated by Harshalmlad I had already visited the Powai branch but the concern person out there said you need to pay the amount.
I’ll not pay the consolidated charges . You close the account at the earliest.
