[Resolved]  Axis Bank — negative balance in axis bank savings account

I have an axis bank account. Earlier it was a salary account. After i quit from the company which gives salary via axis bank, i am not using this account. When i checked the account now, it has been showing negative balance. I contacted customer care for closing this account but they said i have to visit the home branch for closing, as i am out of state currently i could not visit home branch.
Also, i have been known that as per rbi there wont be any negative balance anymore in savings account.
Could you please clarify that why still negative balance coming and what will be the impact if i could not close this account without keeping minimum balance.
