Axis Bank — Personal Loan Part Payment Charges - Axis Bank Representative Miscommunication

This is regarding Part Payment Charges which is applicable for Loan account No : xxxxxxxxxxxx.

I had visited to your branch(Kadur Branch) for Foreclosure of above mentioned loan account which has outstanding amount of 12 Lakh 21 thousand plus(12, 21++)(didn't remember the exact hundreds) upon discussion with bank representatives Mr Girish and other bank representative(Name unknown) it's been clearly said that we have Charges applicable for foreclosure and for part payment we don't have charges.

Upon asking multiple times about charges, it's been clarified by Mr Girish and his colleague saying there is no part payment charges applicable and they asked to pay through Mobile App, i asked for payment option through cheque, or loose cheque or through DD, but they informed i can do in Mobile app and guided me to pay through mobile app and i followed the same by trusting them as they are bank representative and i have done inside bank premises without checking Terms and conditions as i was guided by bank representative.

After all these, post payment when i verified the account the charges are applicable and its 48000 burden on me, i visited bank post this for clarification and after discussion with Operation head Kavitha it's been said that Charges are nil not applicable for Foreclosure for amount exceeding 10 lakh and for part payment there is charges applicable which was contradictory from Mr Gireesh and other bank representative if they are not aware they should get information first before conveying it to customer.

I request you to address this issue ASAP and give proper justice for this. As informed I am ready to pay the complete amount and foreclose the loan.

Note : I came to the bank for Foreclosure but bank representatives said for foreclosure there are charges and for part payment there are no charges due to which i did part payment.

48000 plus amount has been deducted as part payment charges.

Note : From Past 1 month i am following up the Bank Manager but no luck.
