[Resolved] Axis Bank — Without my consent additional debit card allotted in my joint account. | |||
Hi, This is Arindam Ghosh, in the month of september I opened a joint account with my mother in Axis bank (Senior Privilege Savings Account). Without any notifications or my consent they have allotted two debit cards. Immediately when the money got deducted I contacted the customer relation person with whom I dealt with for this account opening. She said once u receive the card then come to branch. I went there & after the discussion with her & the sales guy who took all the documents from my home during the time of account opening, they said okay we r blocking your card & it'll get reversed, after that they have given excuses of demonetization that we r running busy get us little bit of time & we'll credit the amount deducted for that card. Then I made twice complaint in customer care when I followed up with them then they said after some days it'll get reversed but when it doesn't happen till the end of december then again I have lodged another complaint then after few days when I took the follow up with the customer care they said that branch people are claiming that you had signed in the form where you wanted the additional card, which a very absurd thing because to open an account sign is required it doesn't mean that I wanted an additional card. Lastly, when the matter casually get to know to branch manager he said once it get deducted it can't be refunded because printing cost is there, next time it won't get deducted as if it's a small thing because the amount 230 rs which has been deducted it's belong to us & the sales guy is a big liar sitting over there just said the whole lie to his branch manager that I'm willing to take additional card but don't want to pay it. Don't know how many more fools he made with his sweet coated word during the time of account opening. I don't know about other employees but that lady, branch manager and the sales guy they are just spoiling the name of Axis Bank. Mouth publicity is bigger marketing tool, so after getting this kind of services I'm sure that I'll going to tell my known people that please do not go to axis bank anywhere in India. Now, I want the resolution of the 230 amount which has been wrongly debited from my account for the additional debit card. Was this information helpful? | |||
