Date of Incident: 12/08/2022
I use Axis bank airtel credit card and i see wrong cashback being credited.
They even admitted that it should have been credited in Sep 22 cycle but they never processed the missing cashback. (attached screenshot)
It's been more than 3 months now and they still haven't processed it.
Issue:
My cashback that was credited for August cycle was wrong.
Reason for complain:
If you look at my statement, I've just earned 330 rupees as cashback and that's wrong.
Cashback calculation:
Zomato+Swiggy = 207.9 + 260.7 = 468.6
As per TnC, this carries 10% cashback (upto 500)
Amount= 46.86
WiFi bill= 1179
As per TnC, this carries 25% cashback (upto 300)
Amount= 294.75
Utility bill (electricity)= 4694
As per TnC, this carries 10% cashback (upto 300)
Amount= 300
Total cashback I should have earned = 46.86 + 294.75 + 300 = 641.61
Cashback given by axis = 330
Terms and Condition from Axis bank:
As per Axis bank's terms and conditions (attacked screenshot)
1. Mobile and wifi recharges carry 25% cashback upto 300
2. Utility bills on Thanks app carry 10% upto 300
3. Preferred merchants like Zomato and swiggy carry 10% upto 500
Why was i not given the missing cashback even after more than 90 days?
What's the point of raising ticket if even after they admit their mistake they won't fix it.
