[Resolved] Bajaj Allianz — Foreclosure of insurance policy and non payment of foreclosure amount | |||
Sir, I have purchased a policy from Bajaj Allianz Insurance company Ltd in year 2007 with product named Century plus for a amount of Rs 250000 with a single premium of Rs 50000. My agent was the wife of a clerk of Nainital district cooperative bank Ltd. My agent was his wife but I never met her and all documents work was done by the bank clerk himself.Agent told me that only one premium is sufficient, hence I paid only one premium. Policy was prematurely closed by the company quoted reason that minimum 3 premiums were necessary to run the policy and the prematured amount of Rs nearly 33000 was paid to me through a bank cheque, but this cheque is not received by me till now and when I contact the regional office of the company, they told me that the cheque is already credited by me. It's almost more than 4 years that I am struggling with the company for my money and nothing I get till now. I have lodged a complaint in Jan 17 through the portal of centre of personnel grievances and redressal.As a reply to this complaint, your (Bajaj Allianz Life insurance company) representative sent me a mail.His reply is Visit our branch and submit your bank details for payment of RS 16489 .And when I visit your branch, Branch representative told me that he hasn't information regarding this and when he checked online, it shows that the old cheque for which I had lodged a complaint is already encashed.Then when I talked to your customer care representative (Mr. Kiran selvi), he said me that the old cheque is already encashed and company can paid you a additional amount of RS 16489, as a compensation because I have lodged a complaint. Therefore, I kindly request you to please make it clear that who had make the fault either your insurance agent or the company itself, due to which my policy was foreclosed and I have to bear both financial loss as well as my insurance cover was also gets end. Please resolve the matter and paid my amount. Also, it's fruitful for me if you contact me telephonically because I have to discuss the problem of second policy. Thanks. With regards.
