Compliant about Bajaj Pulsur 150 and getting worst services


This is i am sending second email for the compliant about my bike the engine noise. My name is Manisekaran S. I bought pulsar 150 cc on 5th may 2012.Engine no-DHGBVA27282. Chasis no-MD2DHDHZZVCA63894. Still it’s not registered.

First time went to the services centre:- ( 7th may 2012)

While starting the bike, getting more noise from engine and while driving getting more sound and over engine heat. I informed about the engine problem to khivraj Bajaj showroom and service center at mount road, thousand light, Chennai. But the manger (Mohan) checked the engine sound and told it’s resolved now. But still I am getting over noise from engine

Second time went to the services centre :-( 8th May 2012)

I went 2nd time to the same services center, still the engine problem not resolved and getting more noise from engine. He is not providing a problem reason and not resolving the problem. Really it’s irritating me. Within one week I'm facing the engine problem. And also customer service is very worst.

Third time went to the services centre :-( 10th May 2012)

I went 2nd time to the same services center, still the engine problem not resolved. Manager and sales manager (Mohan and Mahesh) checked that problem and identified the problem. But they were not able to resolve the problem and they are trying to convince me. I asked the reason and I didn't get any proper response and solution from services centre people. With in one week I went to three times to the services centre.

Now I feel it waste of money for buying this. If it’s happen, No one won’t like Bajaj. Can anyone accept, if it’s happen for you? It’s really irritating me. Can anyone pleas advice here.

Please replace my bike with new one.

          I PURCHASE PULSAR BIKE 150 CC FROM PRJ BAJAJ PATPARGANJ.AFTER 1 YR I FACED THE PROBLEM IN THE FUEL TANK THAT WATER ENTER IN THE TANK AND I DONT KNOW HOW .MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT A HOLE IS NEAR AROUND ON UPPER SURFACE OF THE TANK WHICH IS BLOCKED AND THAT IS WHY WATER ENTER IN THE FUEL TANK.TILL NOW DATE I CLEAN UP MY BIKE FUEL TANK FROM MECHANIC ALMOST FOUR TO FIVE TIMES. BUT THE PROBLEM IS SAME. I CONFIRM FROM THE TECNICIAN AT PRJ HE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE OK AFTER SEVICING BUT HOW MANY TIMES ICAN GO FOR SERVICING MY BIKE.AFTER EVERY FOUR MONTHS I AM FACING THIS PROBLEM.BELOW ARE MY BIKE DETAILS

            I purchased Pulsar 220 on 23/07/2011, since i have got my bike, I am facing a lot of problems..I got my servicings done on time..regular engine-oil change..even though it has some or the other problem...n even the servicing guys at authorized Bajaj showroom have nt done the servicings properly..my bike's engine gets over-heated, air filter gets choked, headlights not working properly, rear disk makes irritating noise, front fairing making noise, ..poor performance..It took me 2 long years to save money and buy pulsar 220...but I think I have done a big mistake buying this Bike..It is not even a year complete and I am facing so much problems..I want my money back or want the bike to be completely checked n serviced by Bajaj and free of cost...I cannot pay a single penny to them...I am very disappointed. Please do help me out from this..Kapil Ranganekar

              Black smoke from bajaj pulsar 150cc ug3
              Dear Sir, I am having bajaj pulsar 150cc ug3 2007 model. I serviced my bike before 15 days and changed bore, piston and also serviced the head valves and rings. Last week I ride my bike in highways after that day I saw black smoke from silencer when I raise the throttle at 4500rpm. I saw a mild black carbon in silencer when I touched the silencer hole. But at that time engine oil was normal but day by day engine oil is going down. I checked with my mechanic but he is saying not a big problem. I am afraid will it be Piston and bore problem again. Already I spend 7k for servicing. Please suggest me whether its piston and bore problem or head and valve or any other. Thank you.

                Hi,

                I have purchased the bajaj pulsar bike on Feb 2011 from Jai motors adyar. On Feb 2012 changed the chain sprocket. Now some sound is coming from engine and the bike is very slow. raced the complaint in the showrooom but no proper response from the showroom. within 1 year of purchase itself engine problem, what bike are you selling in the market, main is the engine that itself problem. I have use other bikes from other band but i have not faced any problem like this, bajaj is the horbable company that i have purchased. I am not going to leave you people like this, i am going to raise a complaint in the consumer court. I need a response from you people as soon as possilbe where i have to come for this problem i will wait for 2 to 3 days but not more than that after that i will go to the consumer court.

                  My self KK Singh, Purchased Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSI on 02/01/2012 from Bajaj Authorized dealer in Panvel, Navi Mumbai (M/S Guru Govind Automobiles),vehicle registration number is MH 46Q 5442,Pulsar 150 DTSI,
                  • I submitted my Pulsar for 1st free service in Guru Govind & explained the entire problem which I was facing that time to his engineer Mr.Rohan. But to my surprise when I came back to service station for collecting my vehicle, they only washed it & asked for more than thousand Rs. I complaint to Mr.Rohan (Engineer) but he replied there is no complaint in your vehicle, its new hence you are facing those problems. I gave his charges & moved to my work.

                  • Now in the second free service to service station dated 14th of April, I once again gave all the complaints to Mr.Rohan & explained that these are the same complaints which I am facing since 1st service. To this, Mr.Rohan replied,” this is not our problem it exists in ALL BAJAJ NEW PULSAR 150 DTSI. These are manufacturing faults & we can’t do any thing.”

                  1. Major problem -My Stand of Pulsar is touching the road in small ditch/dick or speed breaker. It can be cause of accident.
                  Remedy by Service station
                  Temporarily filled the gas in Shock Absorber.

                  • IS THIS CORRECT SOLUTION FOR ABOVE MENTIONED PROBLEM ?
                  I am dissatisfied with Bajaj service & M/S Guru Govind Automobiles. I want know to whether its really a manufacturing fault or DTSI model fault?. Bajaj Management should take Necessary action regarding the same. I request to you all guys who are looking services of Bajaj to do something to maintain your customer base. I strongly insist to improve your customer interaction & your services. Otherwise GOODWILL of BAJAJ will be affected.

                  Even I am suffering from same problem stand & silencer of my new Pulsar 150 hits every bumps which comes under it. I purchased bike on march 2012 & its 2500 km done but weird sound comes from the chain socket (or Engine or stand, its always confusing) so early it lost the new bike feel even after so much of maintenance.Pulsar is an amazing bike but these issues spoils my mood. please help me if any one has solution of this.

                        Till today my bike has been giving a lot of problems (Paint peel off, ignition jam, horn problem, dent on petrol tank) which i have informed to the service station o[censored]r company . Till now there has been no positive reply from them as there are problems cuming up. From sep 2011 the bike has been entered the service center / showroom for nearly 6 times and till now they have not rectified the mistake till date.

                        So this is to inform you that by now if there is no action taken by you people then i think i really need to do somethin about this matter.

                            Poor quality of Original Bajaj Spare Parts
                            Hi All,

                            Do not purchase the original Bajaj spares from any where, they do not even audit the quality of the spares they are supplying in the market. They are defective,

                            The story,

                            I always replace my spark plug in a period of 6-8 months (even the working ones) as it help in the efficiency of the engine and pick remains constant.

                            Last month, as I was schedule for the change, I went to a shop in Kothrud, pune for the same and bought the original bajaj spark plug "the carton attached for the reference".

                            I removed the old ones and placed it at my home and had the new original spark plug installed on the bike, in less then 05 days, when I was driving from my office at 20 45 hrs, the vehicle stalled in between of nowhere and Luckily I checked for the spark plug first, the spark wire and its cap came smooth out and to clean the contact points of the wire and the spark plug, I fingered them both with soft cloth, I was shocked to see the crown of the spark plug was moving. As I know that the sensitive required for the crown and the carbon brush below, there was no chance for repair on the same component and is permanently damaged.

                            As I work with some critical components myself, I know in the first sight itself that the quality controls for the products deployed for production are bad. The adhesive that these people use is not used in the proper quantity or applied bad or is substandard.

                            Why we should buy Bajaj spare parts if they are of so inferior quality? where they do not even are ready for quality control of their vendor?

                            I contacted the Bajaj people, the turn around time is more then a week. On warning of the publishing the same on the web, I received the call, the guy from the Sai was speechless and was unaware for even who the supplier was of bajaj for Spark plug champion/nkg/other.

                            I insist on filling CAPA forms for two incidences, one for critical operation failure and secondly for undefined post marketing feedback on the products.

                            In the photos shown below, you can clearly see the crown has been detached by unscrewing/ loosing and not by any force. Also you can see the new shining of the components.




                            This is the critical parameter failure for a component especially in some of the industries like aerospace or MS standards. Shame on Bajaj QMS, you are investing money for no good cause.


                            I am pasting the email conversation for which I have received no reply or some canned reply which are not essential for the resolutions.

                            I am posting such article only to show, that the original spare parts are not reliable and especially Bajaj, please do not accept their claims for a quality products.

                            I do not hope for an answer from bajaj or any of the service vendors.

                              i had a maruti swift vxi car which met an accident on 2/3/12 ,by the mini bus near posta . the car was damaged bruttaly on the driver side causing damaged to the doors driver mirror and the front tyre of the car was also fractured due to the mini bus impact.then there i change my front fractured tyre with the stephnie and then move the vechile to the near by posta police station.
                              i logde an compalint to posta police station and then submitted the car to the maruti service station for reparing purpose.

                              After 2 weeks of reparing now they are saying that the tyre compensation will not be given .in response to my interference they send me the pic which shows that the tyre fractured point was in the inside part ,but as per a remembered it cannot happen in any case because the tyre was hit by the mini bus from the outside and it got fractured from outside only and i am 100% sure.

                              they had interchanged the rim inside out and clicked the pic showing the internal side damaged.

                                To whom it may concern,

                                I have bought a New Pulsar 220 Fi on 27th February, 2012 from Bagga Link, Saraswati Vihar. But, very honestly, I have become so frustrated with the bike that I almost want to burn the bike or do something. Just an hour after I bought the bike, I have been facing very major issues.
                                The day I took the bike home, that is rode it just for a stretch of 10 kilometers, I parked it at my garage and I see that the petrol was leaking. I spoke to Bagga Link people, and they said it’s normal and happens. I was fine with it till I saw the fuel meter in the bike dropping. I called them again, and they said that though it is not a major issue, but I can still bring it and they will check it. And when I took the bike to them, they were still saying it is fine until the head mechanic, Munnilal, came to the bike, checked it and then spilt the engine open and took out a part and replaced my part with a new pulsar. WHY WAS THAT ENGINE PART CHANGED IF THAT OIL DROPPING WAS NOT A SERIOUS PROBLEM?
                                Second, the bike keeps itself on auto choke for 20 seconds, each time I start it. And when I spoke to the people at the service station, they said it’s normal and this happens because the bike needs to attain a temperature of 85 degrees. But, I have a biker group, we have 10 people in it, and all of them Pulsar 220s. And not even one of them has ever had this problem. I understand when the bike is started in the morning it needs to heat up and uses auto choke. But every time I start it, it uses auto choke. WHY DOES THE AUTO CHOKE WORK WHEN THE ENGINE IS ALREADY HEATED, ESPECIALLY AFTER LONG RIDES FOR MORE THEN 50 KILOMETERES?
                                Thirdly, one of the major faults is that my engine stops while I’m riding it. I have very close to death encounters while overtaking or crossing roads and at traffic signals. This is one issue that I have spoken about to both, the service station in Rithala and to the showroom manager, and nothing has been done. I do not understand who will be responsible for any mishap that will happen because of this? I took it to the Rithala service station, and spoke to Mr. Arora, and he said he will get it done. And a sardarji mechanic came and opened the engine cover, watched it for some time, closed it, test drove the bike and came back and said it is fine. WHY IS THE STAFF NOT RESPONSIBLE AND WHY IS NO ACTION BEING TAKEN ON THIS SERIOUS ISSUE CONCERNING LIFE AND DEATH? WILL BAJAJ TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY MISHAPS THAT MAY HAPPEN?
                                There are other issues that hold very less importance in comparison to the ones stated above, but nevertheless, are important. My engine makes a rattling noise, and it is increasing day by day. Also, the disc brakes on the rear wheel don’t work that well and take a lot of time to stop the bike.
                                Sir/Mam, I would sincerely request you to please take this mail very seriously as spending a big amount of money and not even getting any proper assurance does lead to dissatisfaction and fury at times. I did not ever intend to take this to a level this high, but trust me, no stone will be left unturned if need be. I hope that this mail gets me a proper feedback and practical solutions. I have also lodged a complaint with the Consumer Forum, and spoke to a Lawyer, and we will be getting in touch with the concerned people very soon, if no proper action is taken.

                                    25 March ko mujhe Bike mil gayi SK Wheels (Turbhe Showroom) Navi Mumbai se jiska instalment mai pichle 2 saal se bhar raha hu.. gadi milne ke kuch hafte baad mujhe dealer ne showroom mai bulaya aur Bike ka registration number MH03AC1677 aur insurance paper diya aur kaha ke RC book ke liye thoda time lagta hai to jaise aajayega woh mujhe call kar ke bula lega lekin 1 saal guzar jane ke baad bhi mujhe RC book nahi mila mai jab bhi dealer se puchta woh yehi kahta ke abhi nahi aaya abhi nahi aaya aur mera insurance bhi expire hogaya jab renew karne ka time aaya to maine apni Bike ka engine number aur chasis number check kiya jo Bajaj finance ke record mai nahi tha jab maine apne registration number se detail check kiya to mujhe pata chala ke un ke pass koi aur engine number aur chasis number update hai, mujhe jab yeh pata chala to mai showroom mai gaya jaha par woh showroom puri tarah band hogaya tha aur us jagah par Maruti Wheels ka naya showroom shuru ho chuka tha maine jab is bare mai dealer se phone par baat ki to usne bataya ke office shift ho raha hai 1, 2 mahine lagenge aur aapka RC book bhi aagaya hai to jaise hi shifting ka kaam pura hojayega mai aap ko RC book dedunga aur jo Engine, chasis number ka problem hai woh bhi clear karwa dunga.

                                    Lekin 1 mahine baad jab maine dealer ko call kiya to us ka number continiues band aaraha tha maine jab aur dusre local deler se inquery ki to unhone kaha k aap bajaj finace mai complaint karo aur jab tak aap ka RC book aur engine number ka case solve nahi ho ta aap payment stop karwado.. aap kyu us Vehicle ka payment kar rahe ho jo aap ko allot hi nahi hui, is ke baad maine dubara Bajaj finance mai call kiya aur yeh sari baat bataya. to unhone kaha ke engine number aur chasis number modify nahi hoga aur hum aap ki kisi bhi taraha se is mai koi madad nahi kar payenge aap apne dealer ko findout kijiye aur unhi se baat kijiye, jab maine bataya ke dealer ka number nahi lag raha hai aap woh engine number aur chasis number apne system mai update kardo jo meri Vehicle mai mention hai aur mujhe duplicate RC book issue karwadijiye to woh kahne lage ke aap apne RTO office jao aur waha se aap ke vehicle ke registration number se B-Extract form nikal waao jis se tumhe Vehicle ki sari detail mil jayegi.

Jab maine RTO mai sari baat bataya to unhone mere Engine number aur Chasis number se details find out kiya aur bataya ke tumhari vehicle abhi tak register hi nahi hui hai agar hoti to us ka record humare pass zarur hota tum turant apne dealer ya Bajaj mai baat karo kyu ke tum dusre ka number apni gaadi par use kar rahe ho agar kisi ne tumhe pakda to bahot bada fine aur saza dono ho gi yeh sun kar mai bilkul pareshan hogaya aur maine dubara Bajaj finance mai call kiya aur mail bhi kiya to unhone kaha ke sir aap ki vehicle register nahi hai aap dubara register karwao jab maine un se is ka process pucha to unhone kaha ke yeh sirf aapka dealer hi kar sakta hai hum nahi, lekin mai dealer ko kaha se lau jab woh contact mai hi nahi hai.. tab se mere gadi ek kachre ki tarah mere ghar ke bahar khadi hai.

                                    Aur Bajaj Finance wale mera ECS bhi stop nahi karwa rahe hai jiske wajhe se woh ECS bounce ho raha hai mere Bank mai mujhe bouncing charges to lag hi rahe hai is k ilawa mera CIBIL record bhi spoil ho raha hai..

                                    Ab aap hi meri aakhri umeed ho aap kuch raasta batao sir mai bahot middle class family se belong hu.. mere sare paise dub jayenge jab tak yeh issue solve nahi hoga meri bike koi kharidega bhi nahi aur meri credit history bhi kharab ho rahi hai plz..

                                    Bajaj jaisi itni badi public limited company is tarah customer ko harase kar rahi hai woh kahte hai ke humara kaam sirf aap ko vehicle finace karna tha jo humne kardiya ab aap dealer se hi baat karo..

                                    Mai yeh jaan na chahta hu ke woh delear kis k liye kaam karta hai mere liya ya bajaj k liye aur jab Vehicle finance hui to kis ki responsibility hai ke jo vehicle finace ho rahi hai wohi proper customer ko ja rahi hai ya nahi aur yeh kis ka kaam hai ke jab vehicle registeration number customer ko diya jaraha hai aur Bajaj apne record mai update kar rahi hai woh already issued hai ya nahi yeh sab customer face kare bajaj is ke liye koi responsible nahi hai.. kal koi bhi dealer bajaj mai kuch bhi registration number update karwadega aur customer ko bhi dedega to kya bajaj woh number update kardegi..

                                    Now i totally got stuck kindly find the 3 attachment one is through the registration number which is updated with you is MH-03AC-1677 status that vehicle not register on my name and registered in year 2004.
                                    Second one is through registration number which is given by dealer MH-03AV-1798 status that vehicle also not register on my name.
                                    And the third one is through both the engine number and chasis number which is mentioned on attachment both the engine and chasis number still not register in RTO.
                                    Now plz assist me in this matter and give me a right solution about what to do i am very much confused and belongs to very middle class family.

                                    My self Mohammed Nafees and my loan number is L2WTHN00415176. I am paying my loan from last two years regularly but two months before at the time of my insurance renewal i saw my engine number and chasis number which is mention on insurance paper thats completely mismatch with my bike after saw this i called bajaj customer care there also my engine, chasis and bike number is mismatch after looking this i was surprised then i was trying to find the dealer but unfortunetly the shop from where i purchased my bike is completely wind up, the shop name was SK Wheels (Turbhe) Navi Mumbai then i asked about some other dealer they said why are you paying for bike which is actually not urs first u correct this thing or modify the number from bajaj finance then only you pay the balance amount.

                                    Now i am very much tense for the following reason

                                    1) Which engine number and chasis number i mention on my insurance renewal. boz if i mention same number which i am using so that number is diffrent from my bike, insurance company never accept my claim for any thing happen in future.
                                    2) Which Bike (Registration) number i mention on my number plate bcoz the number which is mention on my name plate that is diffrent from which is updated on ur system.
                                    3) I still not recieve my RC Book yet.
                                    4) If i want sell my bike then who will purchase my bike bcoz of these issues.

                                    Dear team its my humble request to you plz take me as ur brother and plz sort out the things which is going on and i think you people can do it we have to make 3 little changes then everything will be sortout and if you cant do it then plz forward it to concern department pllzzz.

                                    1) You have to update in ur system engine number and chasi number which is updated on my bike.
                                    2) You have to reissue duplicate RC book if you already issued before.
                                    3) I have to change my number plate as per updated in you record.

                                    Kindly find the attachment of engine, chasis and bike number which is mention on my bike.

                                      I have brought a bajaj pulsar 150 ,11 months ago from Singh Bajaj Auto Patna, Kankarbagh. There is problem of soccer in my bike for which i have insisted them to change it during my free service or do something permanent solution to it . But every time they used to excuse me by telling don't worry it will work. i am a working professional so i have less time to visit a service center but to change this soccer i have visited 3 times to the service center and each time they give me some excuses.Finally they have not changed the gear box but the problem is not solved. The service people are not good too. I have brought a motorcycle from them but when the questions comes of servicing they act as if they have done there job & i have to run behind them for my work. Is this kind of service what the Bajaj company gives. I am getting frustrated to this type of service offer.
                                      Therefore i urge to please look into the matter as soon as possible.

                                        I have purchased a Bajaj Discover 150 bike from Delhi (Rajeev Raj
                                        Delhi ) but the service provided by the Service Center at Rajeev Raj
                                        is not satisfactory and even they do not agree that there is any fault
                                        in the bike. Firstly they always tried not to agree with the problem
                                        so that they could not have to repair or provide warranty replacement.
                                        i have logged the complaint on 04 Feb CR 96304.
                                        its still pending i have not received any satisfactory answer

                                        I have complained to the Customer Service but no body is giving the
                                        properanswer for the same. Since I have sent many reminders over
                                        this but still no response.

                                        This shows how the BAJAJ Auto cares about their customers. this third
                                        class service provide by bajaj

                                        I need the Escalation Matrix of the Bajaj Auto so pls provide me the
                                        same if possible..

                                        complaint: they gives very very poor bike services and his staff behavior is not good.....and i m not satisfied...
