Good morning,

Facing the acute problem of treating the customers as dogs.. kalyani bajaj is a dealership to be avoided, for any kind of purchasing activity. I reiterate, avoid it for plain simple reason that the response from the staff, the manager is absolutely lukeworm for any kind of an appeal/problem.

i had booked a bajaj pulsar 180, blue color on 7th august 09. ( I booked the blue color, but the first negligence, they themselves never wrote down my color preference ). I was promised and assured the delivery within 2 weeks. They were supposed to call and inform for any kind of contingencies. Never got a call. After 2 weeks, I called them up and after heavenly 5 transfers of the call to 'god knows who' executive, i was told to wait for another 1 week, and they promised to call back this time.

While I called again, i was transferred here and there amongst people named john, gayatri, sulekha and others, but in vain. Again a wait for 2 weeks.

I was contemplating cancelling the order and approaching some other dealer. I asked for the booking amount refund. They understood there was a point so, tried being sympathetic and promised to call back within a day or two. Never did i get the call back.

Ofcourse, the irony is that they did get the stock but never remembered to call back. Totally lost out on patience, ( wouldn't you be? ) I called and refused to talk to anyone except the manager. Reached the manager Mr Prabhu, after I heard, and again refused the claimants of the call to be those so called ' sales managers'.

As I talked to him and told him about the whole month long drama, ( It was 3rd of August ) he confirmed, that the lot had arrived, barked on some of the executives and tried to cut a sorry figure. He assured the delivery within a day, all when I confessed to him the way his staff was handling the customers, where I had to explain that in their business, 'customer is the king'..

The very next day I reached with all the formality documents, as well as the cheque with the full amount printed on it. The date is : 2nd September 09. The receipt number is 5283. Then again, he told me the delivery should happen only the next day, as RTO registration is required. Course' I understood. I asked them in the meantime to check the cheque and confirm with the bank that it has been cleared. And I made it a point to ask them now and then by ringing them up. Lukeworm response again, with a reply ' We are not the owners of the bank to do that..' - By Mr Prabhu, the sales manager. ( Or thats what he called himself to be.. )

Now, on the final day when I am supposed to get the delivery, that is on 5th September, I AM BEING TOLD IT CANNOT BE DONE AS THE CHEQUE HAS NOT GOT CLEARED. Prabhu, the manager now says that unless that happens, he cannot register the bike. And, I will have to wait for another 3 days.. That makes it perfect 1 month to the holy drama.

This kind of a treatment to any customer cannot be taken in a light way by the management. If that happens, an appeal to the consumer court as well as the higher top management is to be made. Which surely, will happen.

As in the service Industry myself, we are taught the first lesson to understand, that 'customer is the king whatsoever'. There is some courtesy required even when you have to convey any simple statement, to retain the customers and maintain some goodwill.

I can only hope, that I get my total money back when I go and take it from them, or get the timely delivery of the bike with due apologies from the management.

    ENGINE NOISE

    I had purchased a Bajaj Pulser bike on 16.01.2009 from HARSH AUTO CARE, Rewari (Haryana). After Six Months in this bike a technical problems are coming like a diffrent kind voice in engine. Then i have talk to Bajaj Service Center (Harish Auto Cares, Rewari) and their technician ask me don't worry please enjoy the riding its nothing. After some time i seen that the voice is increasing then i visit again at

    Complaints regarding worst bike service and the quality of the spares of bajaj pulsar.

    Hi My name is K.Kavi jayaprakash . i own a pulsar 150cc i bought this bike on 2007 jan .
    the bike has a warranty (Extended) till 2011 jan.
    till date i use to service my bike in bajaj show room vellore(VDS SAYAR).
    The maintainance cost of my bike is average of 900 per month.
    They will be changing the parts and charge me 1000 per month.
    even then im satisfied to pay the money for my bike but the worst part is the quality of the service.
    VDS SAYAR Vellore is the main dealer for bajaj in vellore. They doesnt have good Mechanics who has good knowledge about the bikes.
    They doesnt even have receptionist who knows about the policies of the replacement or about the rules and regulation of the warranty.
    Every time if a spare is to be changed i had to fight for the warranty.
    And every time i need to explain about the warranty and what it means to them.
    Am i a trainer or a customer.
    If im paying for the new spares all the work will complete in a day.
    If i want the same spare to be replaced with warranty Then comes the problem.
    I have to call customer complaints. Have to wait for the reply from Customer Complaints.
    After that the Dealer(VDS SAYAR) has to wait for the new spares for a week. after that they will replace it with very hard feelings.
    why this happens when it comes to warranty alone.
    bike with maintainance cost of Rs 1000 per month is it worthable.
    and even if you do all service in Bajaj Show room you will not get spares in warranty.
    Where is the word Customer here.
    Hamara bajaj song is good so we can give a award for the song , But Getting an award for Customer satisfaction.
    Bajaj Management should take Necessary action regarding this and they should teach their dealers about Customer Care.
    And they should teach them what the customer satisfaction should make a difference.
    Even now i let my Bike fro service . Engine fault They said(VDS Sayar ) They will call me. i left my bike on saturday evening.
    i didnt even get a call till tuesday and i have to call them now.
    18 th aug i did service . the left indicator sensor was not working. after the service the right indigator sensor also not working.
    this is the best example for the service.
    Still waiting for response form bajaj(VDS SAYAR).
    they will say they wont replace the engine Under Warranty. have to Call Customer Complaints.
    every time i have to call Bajaj customer complaints to make things work.
    Is there any way to take action against this .
    or is there any one we can make a complaint about this.

    Ya even if you report to BAJAJ company they will behave in the same manner, Please let us go to the sonsumer court.

    I bought my bike in 2006 and ion the first service the dealer replaced the new battery with faulty then i spoke to dealer then bajaj company no one was responded in proper manner.

    BAJAJ is atupd guy who is runnung a FAKE bussines by cheating like this because his support encourage dealers to do because if he acts on one complaint then every think will be in well but this guys are JUST CHEATERS

    I Purchase BAJAJ PULSER 150 DTSI @ BAJAJ Show Room Vellore TN 23 AP 3844 purchased date : 08.04.2008. i have back suspenction is probelam i fill three times charged NitroX gas in Bajaj service center but that probelam not clear. so please take action i will finesh my 5 service ( 15500 kms Running now )

      Dear Sir,

      I purchased a Bajaj XCD 125 from M/s Popular Wheelers P Ltd, Ahmedabad, on finance from ICICI Bank Ltd, Ahmedabad. in Nov-Dec 2007. I have also completed the loan payment. As I had not received the RC Book, on repeated queries to M/s Popular Wheelers P Ltd, Ahmedabad, they assured me that I would be receiving it shortly. But one fine day, when I went to their shop, I was told that M/s Popular Wheelers P Ltd had closed down, without leaving any trace. That M/s Popular Wheelers could vanish that too taking such an important document with them was unbelievable. I contacted M/s Bajaj Auto Ltd ( on toll free no.[protected] who gave me aComplaint no. 10581, about two months back. I reminded them twice on phone but of no avail.

      I am baffled to note that M/s Bajaj Auto Ltd could be so careless ! Is this the customer service they are proud of ? Mr. Rahul Bajaj, please listen ! What do I do now? Run pillar to post to the RTO for a duplicate RC Book ? Why should I, for the fault of theirs ? Who will pay for the time and money and harassment?

      I urge you to please put forward my message/complaint to the company to wake up from the slumber.

        Dear Service Provider
        I have purchased Bajaj Platina dated 28 Oct 2007, No. HR26AN725Vehicle Reg. 6, from the showroom Sri Ram Bajaj Auto Service, Badshahpur, Kaderpur, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122101.
        As per my information and also mentioned on the warranty card that the bike is under warranty period for 2 years or 30000km, whichever occurs earlier from the date of sale.
        Currently my bike has covered only 12500km and 1yr 9 months old, so my bike is under warranty period in both the conditions.
        On 22nd July 09, I went Krishna Auto Sales, M-33, Old DLF, Sector 14, Gurgaon, Haryana – 122001, for the regular servicing of my bike. There while servicing I came to know from the service provider that my bike’s front shock absorber in not in a good condition and needs to be changed.
        After that I have requested from Krishna Auto Sales (Mr. Pankaj (Technician)) to change the same but they have ignored my request and given me the reply that yes your shock absorber is in warranty period but we can’t change your shock absorber because we are not getting any supply from their vertical that’s why they will not change.
        Now kindly let me know that where is I am faulty that I should suffer for the reason.
        If you people could not provide the service as and when required by the customer then why it is mentioned by the dealers as well as also mentioned in the documents that so and so facility the customer will get if he is purchasing the BAJAJ product.
        It was my perception that Bajaj Auto is providing better service in comparison of other Auto service providers in this nation but now I am thinking that I was wrong.
        Kindly let me know that whether my perception regarding Bajaj Auto is correct or wrong.
        Because it is matter of trust and relationship which me and my family is having with Bajaj Auto, so kindly revert so that we should be able to correct ourselves.

          mileage,gear,and disc problem

          i m suffering from mileage problem...my bike gives 29.76km/l average mileage, where as at showroom they said bike will give an average mileage of 55kmpl (highway mileage)...my bike gears stuck, n make noise, my bike isn't able to accelerate, its high speed raises to 97 kmph...not more then that...i have visited service center 6 times in 2 months, but no one helps, no one listens to me...HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELPPPPPPPPP, i need BAJAJ TO help...

          I have purchased pulsar 220 on 16th of july through Megha Auto dealers, Lucknow, till its first service its was running good but after its first service some thing has gone wrong which caused an engine noising problem and is not been eradicated yet as i have taken the vehicle to service station for more than 5 times and no positive results has been experienced by me yet please kindly take up the matter seriously .I will remain grateful to you if you positively view the case .Registration no.

            Hi I am Dinesh from Madurai, Tamil Nadu.I bought a pulsar 150 the last year(september).I am really unsatisfied with the services done for my bike...During this past one year i have changed my Clutch Plate and Brake shoe...I really don't know the reasons why my bike s getting some problems periodically and i am the only person handling my biket...Instead i am getting many problems...the answers were not given properly by the service center...I am really unsatisfied with my bike's performance..But i am sure the services done here are worst worst and worst...There was not proper response from the service center...And now here is another major problem, my engine gets heated even after crossing 2 kms to a very high temperature inlcudin My Rear alloy wheel also gets heated even after changing the brake shoe as said by customer service to a new one..But my problem remains the same...I have proof for what all i spend unnecessarily for my bike...Please i don't want other customers to face these kind of problems in Madurai...I am really unsatisfied with the service center...I surely hope this compliant would solve my problem...I please you to take steps...Please..

            Yes i have so complain about service. There is only one service in Ranchi and poor service.
            i bought Pulsar 150 dtsi @ jai bajaj, west mambalam. Initially when step into the show room, they treated me very well until i made the payment :-). i was very happy for such a great care they shown towards customers.

            But i came to know their original face only when i went there for the 2nd service. Then not even look at my face and moreover they were not worried about whatever complaints i raised.
            its wrong with the clutch cable man ...
            its just been toooooo tightend ...
            when it is tightend by an amature technician the byke roars and u will get no pick up n it goes very heated...
            go to a near by mechanic and loose ur clutch cable...
            it will solve ur problem...
            and for the service centres problem...
            hei man may b u just change the service center...
            y dont u try the castroll bike zone...
            the fore men is good there ...
            and shoorely he will help u up ...

            Dear all,

            Last week I serviced my 150 DTSI pulsar at Jai bajaj west mambalam. The main reason i went for the service is to correct the black smoke, mileage and other small adjustments as well. When i went to take my bike back, i was shocked on seeing the bill. It was 1300 rupees and none of the problem was rectified. They are telling stories that the smoke gets reduced after 1000 KMS and all.. Also right now the mileage is only 33 where it was 43 before service. I had requested for a teflon coating, but the bike had its old dull state at the time of service delivery. They started doing the other works like painting, idling, only during the time of delivery. I have never seen such a poor customer delivery in my life.

            I have all the proofs and bills with me seeking justice.
            hi im samin from kathmandu.im also unsatisfied with the services of BAJAJ pulsar...i bouth my bike last year(2009) but my bike is full of problems and BAJAJ service is unable to maintain/repair it. SAME ON BAJAJ...

                We are the students in Andhra Pradesh, As advertised, we were fascianted by Bajaj Bikes and haev bought them but evre since our purchase, the bikes started giving problems. Neither the Service People nor the Company people were responding regarding the same since 3 Years despite our mails, letters and walkins.

                Their Service center people were practising most drastic unethical practices. They bwere using spurious Spare parts which are claiming Lives of many.

                Due to their Indifference towards we here at Andhra Prades haev formed an Association by name Bajaj Automotives Victimes Association. We are identifying various Bajaj Owners who were victimised and area silenlty bearing the burnt and pooling up such people to fight against the unethical practices.

                We all wish to bring a strong note of Condemnation to the Bajaj Company to Realise and Rectify its deeds and Indian Consumers are not a Silent Bearers of Burnt anymore.

                We have developed a Blog towards the same cause and ever since then were tried to being suppressed for raising voice against their mal practises.

                Despite that we were abel to sustain thier pressure and have been fighting for the common cause.

                We all wish that rather than their efforts to concentrate on us, if the same efforets are spent on Innocent Consumers. the Community and the Common People be benefitted more.

                I am suffering in the hands of Bajaj Auto since the last one month, have been delivered a defective Pulsar 220F by Sai Service, Lower Parel, Mumbai. The bike has excessive vibrations and it heats up a lot. Bajaj Auto engineer refuses to acknowledge the defects in the bike. As per Bajaj Auto, the bike is just fine. There are many complaints of the Pulsar 220F, none solved by Bajaj Auto. Owners silently suffer at the hands of a company selling sub-par quality products. Even hiring a lawyer and fighting it out in Consumer Court is difficult as the lawyer charges a hefty fee. Hope the company shuts down someday and people like Mr. Santosh Ayachit (Service Engineer, Bajaj, Pune) lose their job for cheating customers.

                  I HAVE PURCHASE BIKE BAJAJ XCD135 ON 17/08/2009. AT BANSARI AUTO MOBIE GANDHINAGAR SECTOR 30.
                  I WOULD LIKE RED COLOUR BUT ON THAT DAY COLOUR WAS NOT AVAILABLE THEREFORE DEALER GAVE ME BLUE COLOUR. AND OTHER PROBLEM IS BIKE'S AVERAGE NOT GOOD 40 KM/LTR, THEREFORE I AM GOING TO REPLACE THE BIKE BUT DEALER WAS NOT PERFECT REPONSE AND NOT GOOD HIS BEHAVIOUR.

                  With reference to the above after 6months total engine is changed on march 2009 also same problem is coming iam unable to understand what is the problem .

                  What iam saying that if the engine problem why you are sold me. This is the quality you are giving to the consumer.

                  Now I don’t what your motor cycle. Please REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF MONEY

                  I request you to note this and take action for the above said problem, which is effecting the reputation of Suzuki Motorcycle Further, I would like to say that if my problem is not rectified / replaced the Motor cycle / refund my money within 3 days I will go for consumer court for legal action.

                    My present employer had furnished Form13-A (Revised) to transfer my PF account from PF No.MH/31669/131 & FPF No.31669/131 of M/s.Comp Engineering & Exports, Pune to M/s.Bajaj Auto Limited. Provident Fund, Akurdi, Pune 411035 PF No.MH/3795/65789 & FPF No.MH/3795/092747 RPFC Pune on 8th October 2007.

                    Since there was no action from RPFC Pune, copy of the form was again submitted at your Akurdi office on 17th April 2009.

                    However, the transfer is yet to take place.

                    Pls help me.

                    Reg.no. MH-03-AP-741 my complaint is that from
                    starting i am not getting milage Currently i am getting 45 Km/Litre as an my friend have purchase same product but he get 70Km/Litre

                    Bajaj Auto Ltd — Too Delay in delivering

                    Hi,

                    The services received from the Blaze flash courier is too bad. Team from mumbai as courier a 3 product
                    to hyd on 26.09.09. But product is delivered on 03.09.09. after huge fallow ups. Surprising courier office of yours and the delivery is only 10min walkable distance. But delivery is done on 04th oct'09.

                    As i have keep on calling for delivery they have stopped taking my calls.

                    So seriously suggest you to pls improve the services.

                    Note: This is the first time we are using this service and which is turned as bad experience.

                    At my end there is no outstanding to them & i had given my bank statement to their office & their deeler three times before but no action taken.

                        I have brought a new bike BAJAJ XCD 125 from Susee, Kanchipuram, authorised deeler of Bajaj bikes. From the day one onwards I have got only the half of the mileage what company claimed in their advt. It never crossed more than 58 Km/l. That also if I drive my vehicle below 45. If it crosses 50 it drastically comes down to 51-52 Km/l. During my second service I have given my bike to a service agent in Tambram to attend the mileage problem. They have told me that they have doen thir best and bike will deliver the advertised mileage. Hoping for the best will follow to my disappointment it never improved more than 55. I have laready completed my first paid service, thanks to the service agent of Kalpakkam, who refused to entertain my free service coupen for a one day delay. The service agent claimed that he has adjusted to 70 Km/l and assured me that bike will adhere to it. No improvement so far. I advice all of you not to buy any bajaj bikes for the hope of getting any mileage.

                        Hi all,

                        Even I brought XCD 125 cc 2 years back. I would say that it depends how you all keep and maitain the bikes.

                        As far as XCD I used to have regular service and which is advisable. Moreover, milage and the pick is too good. I would say please use the new bikes to set milage go for a long drive and continously have a periodical long trip atleast bike should run far around 100kilometres. For us our bikes give 84km/per litre. Wherein it depends upon the person how we all maintain.

                        I suggest you all to go for XCD 125, which is good bike.

                          Sir,
                          We bought Pulsar Bike with reg no. KA-04 ET 7975 on 30th March 2007 from Kalyani Bajaj, Yelahanka with down payment Rs. 25, 000 and balance amount financed by “Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd.” with proposl no.[protected]

                          It was owned by my younger Brother Sameer Kumar Mishra who works for Tech Mahindra Ltd. as Software Engineer in Pune since that time.

                          As it was financed so at the time of purchasing he gave all the relevant documents with three blank cheques(security cheque) of Kotak Mahindra Bank, which is salary account.

                          After 2-3 months of purchasing the bike they called us and said they haven’t receive payment for the last month, hence I been to BAFL office near Navrang(Rajajinagar) and paid the balance by cash, and even confirmed all is ok .

                          From that time till today I was thinking that every payment is happening on time as My brother never had insufficient amount so the payment will get bounce.. (Proof I have shown them).

                          Sir, The problem was from BAFL side that they linked with Kotak Mahindra Bank for ECS in the month of October 2007 but we bought in March end.; Till then payment not gone to them. One way Its My brother fault also that he didn’t check his statement that time thoroughly as he was only busy with job and little careless related to some moral responsibilities, because he was just passed out young engineer with not much maturity and never cross check bank statement and all.

                          Now Sir I’d like to bring to your kind notice that since the time we Bought this bike we given our bike for service only to Kalyani Bajaj, Yelahanka. And everybody there knows me and my family very well with our address and contact no. {my point for this line is that ..our present contact nos. and address is known to them} Address is same since 2006 till today… This is there with BAFL also.

                          INCIDENT:
                          1) On Sunday, 09th Aug’ 2009 after almost two years, surprisingly two people came to my home without Identity proof and without proper statement and asked for four months EMI amount to pay them.I told them I haven’t receive and notice by post mail or any call regarding this ever..They said on its reply that your contact no. is not active.( sir, that no. was that time when my brother was in Bangalore, but live active no. of Mine is updated in Kalyani Bajaj and even Bajaj Allianz Insurance too, which is their own firm)…( Address is same since three years ) I said If you show us proof or else mail me the statement I’ll make the payment Immediately.
                          Later they said that they will mail me the statement and left.

                          2) On Monday, 10th Aug ‘2009, I was on my way to Office with My Cousin Who came to Bangalore first time on tour for a week.. I was heading to railway station to drop him as he had train to catch by 9 am to Allahabad…. (What respect and impression I got from My relatives, once they come to know this ???)

                          Just near railway station Two six foot plump people with rowdies look stopped me and snatched my bike key and said they are seizing my bike as payment is due. Even they also didn’t show ID and took my bike.
                          Later I said I need to drop my cousin and its already late, let me drop him then will go together to slove this issue, But they didn’t listen to me and just accompanied me to station .

                          I sat on my own bike and my cousin on his bike. They entered from NO Entry side to railway station hence stopped by traffic police personal but without taking any time he rushed and drove away from there.

                          I and my Brother (luckily he came for a week on Saturday, as my Father was not feeling well )been to Bajaj Office(BAFL) Malleswaram(vyallikaval) with my Brother’s bank statement of that period and they accepted their fault; and asked me to pay DUE of those Four months (JUN-SEP 2007) immediately ; We simply paid them on spot the balance amount.

                          Sir, We got our bike and that to be after wasting whole day from 0830 to 1930 roaming here and there on Auto (almost Rs. 400 on Auto), Didn't go to work(lost one day salary or one day Leave) ; They didn’t bring the bike to BAFL office after payment also, but we went to some place near Shankar math .

                          You will not believe these agents whom BAFL appointed are not less then any thief, they took out every drop of petrol which I fueled in same morning for Rs. 300/- very cheap people and on this point BAFL staff shouted on me and said I don't have rights to discuss on whom they appointing and all, also they cant do anything for petrol as I dont have proof for it. I said I have Bill, they said that even they can get fake bill like this.

                          The kind of harassment and Trauma Me and My family has gone thru yesterday was unforgettable and therefore I hope You with all our brother will take the initiative and Help not only to me but to all who are suffering such incident from these kind of Culprits.

                          Looking forward to your positive reply and how you going to compensate for this incident.

                                  I have let my very NEW BIKE at Bajaj Authorised Service Centre - City Bajaj, Sathuvachari, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu for the second company service in very fine condition. While taking delivery, I was SHOCKED to see that my new BIKE has been mutilated in Petrol Tank, Front Mud Guard, Shock Absorbers with scratches and bad damages. It seems that the service people have driven the bike rashly and made injuries to my beautiful bike. While asking the authorities, they did not care to respond. They have taken the matter in a very less and casual mood. They did not even mind to hear my complaint.

                                    I am a victim of poor sale service by Suman Bajaj Noida, Sector-2. I serviced my bike, discover 125 dtsi on dt.[protected]. and I was suggest for PPM kit by the service center, I agreed, but next day I got that my both shockers were leaking, so I went to service center and asked the reason, now they are saying that your both shockers need replace and asking cost is Rs. 1600/- + lebour extra, Even I have already paid Rs. 2150/- for my service vide my Invoice no[protected], Dt[protected].
                                    sir I would like to say that before servicing of my bike there was no leackage or any kind of problem in shockers, So I am batrayad by the Suman Bajaj.
                                    Sir you are requested that kindly look into the metter as soon as possible.
