[Resolved]  Bajaj Auto — fraudulent dealings and service by garve bajaj pune

I bought my bajaj avenger 220 abs cruise with a full down payment on 30 october 2019 from garve bajaj wakad (Pune) branch and these guys have kept my registration pending for more than 45 days now. Looks like they want me to cough up more money but won't admit it directly to avoid any proof recordings. They persuaded me to make full cash payment instead of financing the bike and handed me the bike without registration. For several days they kept telling me that there was some problem with my documents but i later found out there were some rto registration forms on which they had voluntarily not taken my signature. I caught them lying several times in the process of which some of my associates and colleagues are a witness.
Also, they gave me an invoice of another branch instead of the one where all the dealings took place. All their business seems shady.

These guys seem to have made this a fraud business in the currently declining automobile market, tarnishing the image of bajaj itself. Won't recommend to anyone.

I want all my money back or the bike registered immediately. I will buy my vehicle from somewhere else instead preferably. If my issue isn't resolved, i will file a lawsuit against both the agency and bajaj company itself for fraud and mental harassment.

The company customer care reached out to me following which a complain was registered with them. The complain though was resolved without my consent without contacting me about the details of the issue. I then texted the link of the consumer complain to the manager of the agency that I purchased the bike from. The manager probably realised that if this wasn't handled immediately, the consumer complain might be escalated. Within an hour of gaining the information about the consumer complaint, my registration process was taken through by the agency and my bike was registered the very next day. Throughout the process though I kept receiving requests (sometimes even persuasions) from the agency manager to close the complaint which I refused to do until I had received my number plate. The entire ordeal has messed up my serving timelines since it has been more than 45 days for this to resolve and my bike hasn't been driven much. I am following up with the agency to resolve the same. It is good to know that when nothing works customers can rely on consumer complaints for resolution. My suggestions to other consumers who might face similar issues is to immediately forward the complaint link to the concerned people involved in the issue. This speeds up things considerably as the concerned authorities are afraid of the complaint being escalated high up the hierarchy.

@Bajaj Auto Customer Care, your customer support seems as lame as your affiliate agency I am registering the complain about. One of the registered number does not exist and on calling the other one, the executive gave me some other landline number that was not answered on call. For now have registered the complain on the link provided.
P.S. If I don't have my bike registered in the next 24 hrs, I want my money back.

Your link is fake too. It throws error on submission. There is no dealer branch to select and it says, 'Select a dealer branch to continue'. Have attached an image for reference. You guys have woven a trap for your customers.

@Bajaj Auto Customer Care stay assured I am taking the matter to court if someone from your end doesn't take action on this in the next 24 hours. I have had my patience tested to its limits. I will have an apt compensation for my mental harassment through legal government procedures if required.

It would really help if you guys gave correct numbers on this forum. I was routed twice to different phone numbers beforeI could actually register a complain. Please let me know ASAP of the proceedings regarding the same.

Also, even on asking otherwise they handed over the bike to me without registration. This is illegal and can get both the agency and Bajaj itself in trouble. I have myself been facing issues taking the bike out everytime they ask me to take the bike to one of their centres from time to time.

All the proceedings w.r.t. RTO registration were carried out yesterday from the agency once they came to know about the complaint. I received my registration number this afternoon.
Is this what the system has come down to? Customers will have to raise complaints on the forum to get the job done?
I will mark the complaint as resolved only after I have received my number plate, have my service dates re-ordered and aptly compensated for the security risk that I have taken by keeping an unregistered bike with me for almost 2 months. Also, the agency has also made mistakes in my insurance details (typos in my name) which have not been corrected yet. That should be rectified too. They also made the same typo in RTO registration.

Finally got my number plate yesterday. Still need to figure out with the agency about the servicing schedule since my bike hasn't been driven much since the purchase. Marking the complaint as resolved for now.
