[Resolved] Bajaj Auto — fraudulent dealings and service by garve bajaj pune | |||
I bought my bajaj avenger 220 abs cruise with a full down payment on 30 october 2019 from garve bajaj wakad (Pune) branch and these guys have kept my registration pending for more than 45 days now. Looks like they want me to cough up more money but won't admit it directly to avoid any proof recordings. They persuaded me to make full cash payment instead of financing the bike and handed me the bike without registration. For several days they kept telling me that there was some problem with my documents but i later found out there were some rto registration forms on which they had voluntarily not taken my signature. I caught them lying several times in the process of which some of my associates and colleagues are a witness. Also, they gave me an invoice of another branch instead of the one where all the dealings took place. All their business seems shady. These guys seem to have made this a fraud business in the currently declining automobile market, tarnishing the image of bajaj itself. Won't recommend to anyone. I want all my money back or the bike registered immediately. I will buy my vehicle from somewhere else instead preferably. If my issue isn't resolved, i will file a lawsuit against both the agency and bajaj company itself for fraud and mental harassment. Dec 23, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved The company customer care reached out to me following which a complain was registered with them. The complain though was resolved without my consent without contacting me about the details of the issue. I then texted the link of the consumer complain to the manager of the agency that I purchased the bike from. The manager probably realised that if this wasn't handled immediately, the consumer complain might be escalated. Within an hour of gaining the information about the consumer complaint, my registration process was taken through by the agency and my bike was registered the very next day. Throughout the process though I kept receiving requests (sometimes even persuasions) from the agency manager to close the complaint which I refused to do until I had received my number plate. The entire ordeal has messed up my serving timelines since it has been more than 45 days for this to resolve and my bike hasn't been driven much. I am following up with the agency to resolve the same.
It is good to know that when nothing works customers can rely on consumer complaints for resolution.
My suggestions to other consumers who might face similar issues is to immediately forward the complaint link to the concerned people involved in the issue. This speeds up things considerably as the concerned authorities are afraid of the complaint being escalated high up the hierarchy.
