I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a Havells water purifier I purchased on 8th February 2025 from Bajaj Electronics, Hyderabad.
At the time of purchase, I was assured by the sales representative that this was a highly reliable, top-rated, and fast-moving model. Despite expressing my concerns and asking multiple questions about the product’s performance and reliability, I was repeatedly assured that I could proceed with full confidence.
The purifier was installed the following day and initially worked without issues. However, within a few months, the water began to develop an unpleasant taste, and the unit started discharging an excessive amount of wastewater—often running for 10 to 15 minutes even when filling a single glass of water.
I raised a service request within the free servicing period. Upon inspection, the technician recommended upgrading the FRT from 350 to 550, which was done. While this slightly improved the taste of the water, the issue of excessive water wastage remains unresolved.
Despite four service visits—two by junior technicians and two by senior technicians—the problem continues, with no lasting resolution provided. No one seems to be understanding my situation—not Bajaj Electronics, nor Havells. What do I do? Where do I go? Is this the kind of service I should expect from trusted brands like yours? This has caused me immense frustration and inconvenience, and I feel completely let down as a customer.
This ongoing issue is unacceptable, especially after the clear promises made at the time of purchase. I have now lost all confidence in the product and am requesting an immediate return and full refund.
Please treat this matter as urgent and respond at the earliest.
