J.Rakesh kumar s/b account no [protected] 5/3, breweri road extn shenoy nagar chennai-600030 sub- enquiry and complaint regarding your dd charges sir/ma, am, i am holding a savings account in your shenoy nagar branch, chennai(1167). I had taken a demand draft from your bank on 23rd march for rs 4, 70, 000/-. The d/d commission or charges, charged was rs 3240/-.First i want to know how your bank calculates this charges and why this charges is so high in your bank as i have verified in many banks in our surroundings ( max amount of other banks n our surrounding andhra bank- 1290). I request you to please bring transparency in your charges, as when i made enquiry in your branch they say it is system generated, and in your toll free number you say charges are rs 5/- per thousand which comes only to 470*5=2350.I request your bank to please charge reasonable amount and not fleece your customers.
