[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Card Expired

Hello There, I received a gift card for my wedding but couldn't use the card since I left India few days after the wedding. I just noticed that the card status has been closed and is not active. The customer service representative said that I can't redeem the balance whatsoever. I think this is really unfair. I am not sure how to get my gift money back. Please help! Thanks!
