I wish to file a formal complaint against Bata India Ltd. regarding unfair pricing and non-compliance with applicable tax regulations.

I purchased three pairs of school shoes from the Bata store located at Preet Vihar, Delhi, at ₹899 each. Subsequently, I discovered that the same shoes are being sold online on Amazon for only ₹650 per pair. This significant and unjustified price difference raises serious concerns o[censored]nfair trade practices, as customers expect consistent and transparent pricing from a reputed brand like Bata. Selling products at Maximum Retail Price (MRP) in stores while offering lower prices online amounts to customer exploitation and causes erosion of consumer trust.

Further, I was not provided with a GST invoice in my company’s name, despite requesting it at the time of purchase, which is a violation of applicable tax laws and consumer rights.

I strongly urge Bata to take immediate corrective action by refunding the excess amount charged and ensuring that proper invoices are issued as per legal requirements. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate this matter by filing complaints with consumer protection authorities and sharing the issue on public forums and social media platforms to raise awareness about such unethical practices.

I expect a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter.
