I had purchased a footwear by the article no. 651-3118 yesterday from Sarojini Nagar outlet and after wearing it today I found that the product is faulty as one shoe was making lot of noise while walking, other shoe ended up giving me shoe bite and within one day the inside cushioned fabric of the shoe started getting crumbled.
While purchasing the product staff told me clearly that we have 3months warranty and will change the product immediately.
So I tried reaching the outlet today over the phone from 1:35 pm today where in one lady picked up my call and despite me being on the call with her ended up ignoring what I tried to complaint about and left my conversation completely unattended and started conversing with someone else while I was still at the call. And since then till 3:54 pm the outlet's landline phone was continuously busy as the lady had not cared to place the receiver back on the phone.[protected]. After multiple attempts I somehow managed to get the store manager's mobile number which again was provided wrong to me and after multiple call attempts I got the store manager Mr. Shiv Raj's number ([protected]) did not care to receive the calls despite calling him multiple times.
Then finally at 3:54 I could manage to have my call answered at the store where some gentlemen asked me to get the product at the shop and they will check it.
Upon arrival at the store I was told that my product will not be replaced (which was a commitment when I was purchasing the product yesterday that till 3 months if any issues arrive product will be changed) and rather they will get it repaired and that too after it's repaired I will have to come and collect it from store. Why should I be visiting the store 3 times when the product provided is faulty. Upon requesting and refusing to visit third time I had asked that lady at the reception to get this home delivered to which she rudely refused and said I cannot get this done, only manager can decide and when I said I want to meet the manager she kept on saying that this cannot be done as he is in meetings. Upon putting pressure on her she finally agreed to make a call to the manager and within a minute they agreed to get repaired item delivered at my house.
Shows completely unprofessional attitude of the store manager as well as the lady at the counter. I want my complete refund or a new product. Else I shall be going legal about the organization for troubling the customer and making false promises while the product is purchased and after purchase experience from a brand like BATA.
