My house is almost 20yrs old. And in these 20yrs i have got it painted around 4 to 5 times. Out of this BERGER EXPRESS PAINTING is the most POOR QUALITY work i have experienced. Total DISAPPOINTMENT...

Initially when the paint started (Ground floor) everything went well, procedures were not followed properly, I was told sanding would be done by a sanding machine, but i found that they were sanding the walls by hand. Later when I complained about it, the contractor sent a sanding machine, only after this the walls started to look smooth and in the end it turned out to be a good finish.

But in the last stages of work(first floor) they did not use any sanding machines, now the walls have so much o[censored]ndulations, as I have got my walls painted white, it looks odd when there is bright light in the room.

They have also not painted the back/rear compound wall.

Even the window painting is so bad, the putty or paste that they fill in are visible even after painting. And the paint that they have applied to the window pane is from ASIAN PAINTS. The contractor was not capable of providing the shade of paint I was looking for. Took 3 days to match the colour I was looking for and later blamed me saying you are not selecting the proper colour from the shade card. But ultimately when I purchased the colour ASIAN paints it clearly matched the colour I selected from BERGER paint card.

Worst contractor I MUST SAY !!

They did not mask the switch board and it was filled with paint, later when i told them to clean it up they used some chemical to clean. Now all switches have faded into whitish and the gloss finish of the switches are all gone and also the chemical has seeped into the switches and they do not work smoothly !! Why the hell did they not mask the switch plates ?? I would definitely ask for a refund or get the switches replaced from BERGER side. As these were all new switches.

The gate painting is so nasty, no one will pay even a penny for it, a disgusting job. No metal paste is used to fill up the gaps, the yellow primer is still visible after the painting is finished, many points on the gate are already starting to rust !!

I have sent a message along with the photos to the contractor, site manager. But no one is responding. We have never delayed the payment when the contractor asked. We have been honest towards making on time payments.

The contractor will not show up on site even a day in a week. Painters themselves have to go to the paints dealer to fetch the required materials and come to site at 12:30 PM onwards. Then what are contractors for ?

Overall, NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. For this nasty finish I could have hired any person for half of the price of what I paid now.

I have attached all the (dirty work done) photos attached along the mail. There are hundreds more, but I cannot keep on clicking photos and keep sending them to you people.

Things to be resolved :
Compound wall needs to be painted.
Front gate needs to be filled and re-painted.
Window panes need to be painted.
Damaged new switches should be replaced from BERGER or responsible persons.
I am not going to pay even a single penny for the painting that will be done ahead. If these things are not resolved ASAP, or declined from BERGER.

I have attached the pictures along the mail. Have a look at the work done !!

I WILL HAVE TO TAKE SERIOUS STEP AGAINST BERGER EXPRESS PAINTING, I HAVE NO PROBLEM GOING TO CONSUMER COURT, I HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS AND PICTURES.
