[Resolved] Bharat Matrimony — assisted member service - not upto the mark - want refund back

Dear Team,

I joined the assisted service by paying 25000 they informed me they will send 3 profiles per week and follow up with them - No response till date.

They havent kept up to their promises I have been polite an sent emails and have even chatted with them however no response on the phone number or their manager.

I have lost my patience - you cant say your client is not good If my profile is not good why did you guys call me back to back to join the service. Why did you guys promise that we will do something and end of the day I'm sitting and performing the search.

All I need is my money back or will have to take this as a legal case.

Hi team,

Now they have come to me saying they are not going to refund, this was never mentioned in any terms and conditions. At the time of joining I was promised to avail the service but the service has breached not once or twice multiple times and they way the communicate is really wrong. Need help from team in getting my money back

Team spoke to me couple of weeks back and are telling me that they cannot refund. However its been 2 weeks they said they will call on a monday and still no response.

Pls refund my money. @ Consumer forum kindly help.

Their terms and conditions says clearly that the termination can be done by customer or the relationship manager.


23. Termination
A. The AM membership may be terminated by AM/you without assigning any reasons by serving 7 days written notice on the other, all amount paid till date by you shall be forfeited.
B. Upon termination / suspension of AM membership, your right to use or access the AM website / AM service will cease immediately. All provisions of this terms and conditions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, disclaimers, and limitations of liability. Termination of your access to and use of the AM Services shall not relieve you of any obligations arising or accruing prior to such termination.

How can you forefeit customer's amount without legally signing any document. In my case I havent signed any document on this the relationship manager as not provided service as per the agreed terms and their manager acknowledged the same and have not yet responded.

While joining the service they call you n number of times saying sir best service we will provide and things and till today I'm under loss and have paid 25000 rupees and going through their miserable time everyday.

My mother received a call from Oriya Matrimony (subset of Bharat Matrimony) asking her to renew subscription and also when my mother said we do not need to renew, then the caller started behaving indecently and started using foul language. I think it was totally uncalled for and a user cannot be forced to renew subscription.
Today 3200 rs was debited from my account without my consent.I dont want to renew the subscription and i need refund.I dono how the hell they renew my account without my consent.
