I am very disappointed with BigBasket services, I was supposed to get my delivery on 31st August but they cancelled it and postponed it to 1st of September and then at given slot of time they again cancelled it. My father is a Cancer patient and I have ordered edibles due to tight schedule of my Hospital Work as Dengue Season is on and I cant even go to market that's why I choose this costly services from Bogbasket but in vain. now after 3 days of waiting time they cancelled my order and they did not credited back my amount to my credit card but saved it in my bigbasket account so that I bound to purchase from them again. Their helpline is busy since last 3 days. Never buy anything from Bigbasket. This is my personal experience from them and that too three times.

I gave up on them that they will improve, so I want my money back so that I can quit them forever.

    We ordered vegetables with big basket, and this is the second time we had bad experience.
    - first time the ginger had insect onto it. And it was delivered along with insect. We returned it and that was it.
    - today i got the delivery of bitter gourd, which had fungus on to it. Attaching the photos for the same.
    - along with that in the same order we had a mixed capsicum and it was all rotten with bad smell that we couldn't even open it and was at a state where it should be thrown in the dustbin.

      I have ordered items MBO[protected], and have applied the code BBICICI25T.
      after paying the money i didn't received the money back.
      i did multiple follow up with customer care and they told that due to technical issue, code has not been applied and you will not get cash back.
      i request you to give my money back in my ICICI bank account as i have paid through the same.

      The customer care response was very low quality and unprofessional.

      Eagerly waiting for your reasonable reply as i would plan my future course of action accordingly.

        I ordered fruits for delivery on 28 Aug through and it was delivered. The fruits were very raw and it may take another 10 days for them to ripen and some of them are so hard that they may not ripen at all. Giving discount is ok but sending raw fruits is not acceptable at all. We are not going to order from BB anything anymore.

          Online shopping order placed on 25.08.2016 with BigBasket under "Express Delivery" for which advance payment made through credit card has not been delivered yet. Order no. DX-MDFO[protected] placed at 6.00p.m with BigBasket on 25.08.2016. Under Express Delivery the items should have been received by me within 90 minutes.

          Out of 6 items 3 were delivered on 26.8.2016 (after 14 hours), 1 was delivered after 25 hours and 2 items are still awaited.

            This order was scheduled to be delivered on 18th Aug between 7.30 to 10pm. But finally it was delivered on 7.40 am on 19th Aug. I wanted to inform you about the inconvenience caused to my family because of this.

            1. First of all, there was no intimation that the delivery wont be happening on 18th. My family and I waited till late night waiting for the delivery and finally we slept late because of this.

            2. Both my wife and I am working and we leave early in the morning for our work. The delivery on today morning was highly inconvenient for us and because of which I got late for my office. Also, I have a 2 year old kid whom I have to drop at play school in the morning. This too got delayed because of this unplanned delivery. Also note that the even a 10 min delay in leaving from my home, will have an exponential increase on my travel time because of the heavy traffic that we are facing. My son is not comfortable travelling for long hours in car. He vomited in the car because we got stuck in traffic. Before changing the delivery timings, it is pertinent that your Company needs to check with the customer on his /her inconvenience.

            Please take this issue with the respective person in your company and let me know how this inconvenience can be indemnified.

              My husband sent gift on a very important day of my life through BigBasket as he is living out of india, but i missed delivery for 5min(call came by 9am and my call back at 9.05am) as i am working in US shift and called them more than 10times but never they call back further time delivery, that time i was unable to open my eyes and that one girl was trying me on conference call with delivery boy so balance was going to zero.I was recharging and calling them and was explaining the same issue again and again to the same girl but they never called me back(i felt like i am barking and they dont care).Finally i got dry rose no chocolate which got cancelled after i warned them about bad service, why are playing with customers emotion.They are taking delivery charges so they have to delivery on our comfortable time.Please kindly take it seriously and try to avoid these harassment on customer after paying completely.Now i am on poor health condition and on leave for disturbing my mental balance.I really wish to go for complain a case against emotional harassment.

                I have placed an order from my id – [protected]@gmail.com, mobile number – [protected], invoice no –mdvi[protected], order no – mdvo[protected] dated 10th august for rs. 5109 but the order was automatically cancelled after 2 days without any prior intimation. we had to wait for 2 days and then sudden cancellation was of big pain for us.

                That too i was just checking my credit card statement today and found that the amount is also not refunded to my credit card account till now, due to which i had to pay the late payment charges to my banker as i was assuming that credit for the same must have been credited till now. this kind of negligence is simply not tolerable as we as a consumer places huge trust on you guys and after these if we are offered these kind of services then it i am not sure about your credibility.

                Do make the refund of this amount immediately and confirm. also please credit the late payment and interest charges of rs.998.

                  This is regarding transaction reference no: 383573; where i used payzapp to pay for order no mguo[protected]
                  At big basket where it was clearly mentioned on big basket mobile app on (Thursday, august 18th 2016) that customer will get cash back of 200/- rs on paying through payzapp for order above;

                  I paid through payzapp an amount of 1035/- but i am yet to get the cash back.

                  - i will never use big basket to place any more order (Because it was bigbasket who displayed that pay by payzapp to get 200/- cash back on order worth more than 1000/-).

                  I am 6 months old customer with big asked and will never shop from bigbasket again.

                  I am educated and aware customer and you cannot gain anything from fooling and cheating customers like us;

                      I have ordered a delivery of 3 items at Friday 12th august, 2016 at big basket. The delivery was expected to arrive at 12th august before 9:37 pm. but they delivered only two items at next day Saturday i.e 13th august, 2016 at 12:30 pm around. still i have not got 1 item delivered and as per them, it is going to be delivered at 14th august, 2016 i.e 2 days after the order is being placed. Kindly look into the matter and take severe actions against them to avoid the inconvenience for others in future.

                        Later my money was refunded for those, but within a week, I find that some fake person is utilizing my account money for her order. Which I noticed and immediately cancelled that order. and I brought this to the notice of BigBasket people.
                        It suggested me to change my password. but before I could do it the impostor did it herself and changed all my account details, address, email ID and password.
                        I am from Mumbai and the impostor is from Kolkata. I am afraid the BigBasket imposter can even hack into my bank details.

                        Now it is that I can't even login my account and can't even retrieve my password with forgot password link.

                        Its a serious misbehave from either BigBAsket side or from impostor. Big Basket people assured that they will look into the matter and resolve the complaint. But they have not reverted to me at all and are not replying to my mails. I even sent them my documents for verification but they didn't help. I am surprized how much anyone can fall just for few hundred rupees. I need my compensation for this.

                        It is requested to kindly look into the matter and revert back to me.

                          Highly unprofessional! I chose 7:30 to 9 pm on 8th aug'16 as the delivery time for my orders but the products were delivered to me at 6:50 am on 9th aug'16! The delivery person had called me on 8th and informed that he is little late but coming next day is absolutely nonsense.. Also, on top of this, 5 items were cancelled without prior notice! Never going to order from here!

                            Hi Sir,

                            Big basket is the one of the big bluff company in the country who actually deducts the money from the account of the customer and does not deliver the product but sends the message and confirmation mail saying "product Delivered".

                            This is the worst ever experience i am having with Big basket. These people are full of cheaters and bluff masters. I dont know how many customers they might have fooled already.

                            Please take the strict action against these bloody people.

                              Big basket or atleast the delivery team has a customer cheating scheme that has been going on for a while. They under deliver items (Atleast one or two missing) in every delivery. If you are lucky enough to check it, you can complain. I have complained to them on 6 different occasions. They refund the money when we fight over it, but it still happens every time. So if you are not at home / dont have timw to check they essentially pocket that money! This is deception and trying to cheat consumers!

                                Guess the traditional go to supermarket to buy method is best! Things like big basket do not work in india. I placed an order on sunday for delivery on tuesday morning! Having got a text on monday confirming delivery, i waited for the entire specified delivery slot on but no one came by. When i called the customer care, the person delivery team and said the order was cancelled. I didn't received any email notifying cancellation. Also i made a payment via card that was taken through. They don't refund in cash so what is point o[censored]sing their service!

                                Their advertisements on television and radio are pretty enticing and enterprise idea also appears western but they do not back themselves with resources and quality! Absolute waste of time and effort.

                                Also don't be surprised if the grocery arrives wet or damaged as they just throw stuff everywhere. I returned a pack of oil as it packaging was damaged only to realise that the oil pack burst when the delivery person threw it in a crate! They have also broken my front door stopper without paying for it!

                                  Case i) I had placed order in express deliversy.I got call from bigbasket..it is saying out of 2 item..1item not available..big basket suggested replacement item...i said ok..and bigbasket team confirmed that item get delivered...i have been waited more than 3 hours...i did not got my order..i called several time to help line...they are also struggling to answer..because they are help less..finally got call from delivery team saying ...ordered items are out of stock.. i wonder i got confirmation about delivery initially..after 3 hours my followup they simply saying out of product...brovo bigbasket... i[censored] continue same, , u dont capture market...this case about yesteday...order no:ss[protected]

                                  case ii) Today i placed ...the same order on express delivery time slot between 30th july, 5pm-6pm...but still 7.41pm no update...i called customer care..3 times...as usual they are unable to contact delivery team...again brovo bigbasket.. order no...

                                    This is by far the worst experience i have ever had with any online product or service provider.
                                    I was supposed to get the groceries delivered on 28/07/2016 between 9:30 am and 12 pm.


                                    The customer care executives just keep putting my calls on hold (Claiming that they are checking the status), and then just blatantly hang up my call.
                                    They have promised delivery multiple times (1st: b/w 5 and 7 pm on 28/07 then b/w 7 and 9 pm, and then by 10 pm on 28th july 2016).
                                    It has been over 24 hours and i still haven't received my order, or apology, or a status update on the delivery.
                                    I had to miss work for a day just in anticipation of the promised delivery, and yet, i still haven't received it.

                                    I could never go back to a company like this.
                                    Please help me get the order delivered.

                                    The customer care messaged me saying that we will reschedule the delivery, and when I responded to confirm the time slot, they just stopped responding..!! :/ I am not sure what kind of company has the least amount of integrity, professionalism, or ethical value system (with inability to service in a metropolitan like Mumbai) and then claim to serve numerous cities around the country!

                                    Sincere advise to anyone still willing to use this website. Please never pay online, through wallet or any other means. Atleast you wont loose your money. I have already lost almost 1600 rs for the order and 5 k of one day's work pay because of this pathetic service provider.

                                      I booked sugar in bigbasket, order is confirmed and also recd mail and message, but not delivered on 27.07.2016. I called to customer care their told i will contact the concern person and get back to you sir, finally i received call from customer care their told sorry sir today is not possible to delivery so tomorrow morning we do delivery i told ok, but when call cut that time i received message your order is cancelled i m shocked. Immediately i called to customer care but their are not giving correct response their told sorry sir out of stock we are not booking now.

                                        I have had a worst experience with big basket lately. I had placed an order 3 days back and they had committed to deliver the order very next day.
                                        But the order was not delivered next day. Not even a day after. There was not even a call made by them to inform me regarding delay in delivery.
                                        I have a small kid at home and i m a working women. I trusted them but they have only betrayed us and caused such an inconvenience.
                                        They have left me high and dry. Whenever i call there call centre it has only to say a sorry. They fail to understand customers problem and only make false commitment.
                                        Worst experience ever.
                                        This company is being run by a bunch of frauds who are sitting there to just cause harassment.

                                        This is not big basket. It's in fact a big disappointment.
                                        BigBasket.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
