[Resolved]  Blue Dart — Blue Dart Express should change their name to Blue Dart Sorry

My parcel was dispatched from Hyderabad on 23rd May 2014 Airway bill number: and it as a screen, which I wanted to give as a gift along with HD projector (not part of consignment) on her 50th Birthday, which was on 27th May 2014.

This was surprise and I had AV technician on call so that all this can be fitted and ready for her.

Blue dart couldn’t deliver the same, though I had an extra day build into the delivery.

The reason they are giving me for last three days for non-delivery is that they have unprecedented parcels/ consignments the company has received and therefore, they have not been able to handle this load, so delayed delivery.

Come on guys please give better reasons, than this lame one. Firstly, if the organization can’t coup up with the extra delivery load, they should accept the delivery or gear up to handle the same.

Honestly as a customer, this is not my look out. I have contracted Blue Dart to deliver the goods from Hyderabad to Mumbai and have honored my part of commitment, by paying them the money and giving them the goods. They in turn have defaulted in fulfilling their part of commitment and not one but three days in a row. This has resulted in no 50th birthday surprise for my wife and the agony I had to go thru for the same. Secondly wasted three days, waiting for the consignment, as it was important for me and I didn’t want anyone else to take the delivery other element of surprise would be lost.

Till today evening, after lots of chat with the customer service center associates, I haven’t been able to know when the delivery will happen. All the call center team keeps on telling me that, it was been escalated and shall be done soon. The soon never happens.

Blue Dart is really darting the issue of customer satisfaction and the whole team seems doesn’t understand customer satisfaction and delay in service. After talking to them, delay in delivery is matter of fact, and they seems not so bothered about customer anxiety and honestly, my perception is delay delivery happens very frequently.

I was given the number of godown in charge in Mumbai, gentleman named Manish, phone number [protected], I tried calling him 17 times, phone rung but he never picked up my phone. This is customer service from Blue Dart Team. Seems that darting the customer is what they do best.

I still am at their mercy and not sure when I will receive the parcel. I hope after posting this on consumer forum, the company doesn’t deliver the parcel at all or damaged.

I want to understand what is my recourse from the consumer court for such shoddy service from the Blue Dart .
